I'm disappointed about the fact that it seems like Barnes alone came up with the agenda. If I'm mistaken I apologize and point out the apparent lack of transparency regarding the issue.
While as it currently stands, something missing from the agenda is clearly not indication of anything, but I'll use this opportunity to express my wish to see Weissreich follow his suggestion about awards (from the ancient history that is our last elections).
The Citizens' Platform could benefit from a casual and easy way to make citizens' loose miscellaneous thoughts heard by the Underhusen. Having to create a whole new topic, or to send a PM, or to risk getting completely buried as off-topic in some not directly related thread may repel citizens from voicing out their "everyday" thoughts. Things have a habit of getting fairly formal around here too.
The Citizens' Platform could perhaps benefit from overall re-evaluation regarding the sticky threads and posted guidelines on how to utilize the area. It is the front line for citizens to get involved, isn't it? It needs to be appropriately approachable and easy to use.
I think it might also be worth exploring a larger UH presence on the RMB, in efforts to push increased regional and forum activity. If we perhaps select a Skrifa to post regularly NS-side, ask new or RMB only members for their thoughts on the region and ideas on how to improve it, we could draw in potentially dedicated community members and expand it from the forums to NS as well. Mayhap a pipe dream, but we should look into it.
I have faced this stonewall so often that I almost feel bad for bringing it up myself.
This doesn't sound like something that should be the task of a Skrifa, it could work this way for political subjects, but for better coverage of the entire forum I feel that this should instead fall under one of the ministries. It's a good thought in any case.
This could also work both ways, if the RMB is kept updated on the forum, why shouldn't the forum be kept updated about the RMB? The closer together we can bring the two, the better chances we ought to have to gain new citizens in the process.
