Yes, well, when I have multiple people saying that it's glitching their feeds, it becomes an issue.  We don't want to break the site just to hit 100.

It was nearly to the point of glitching for me, too, and it was causing an annoying scrolling issue on both mobile and desktop, so it was honestly a good call to stop.

It's interesting watching Zack Snyder's progression as a director from 300 to Watchmen to Batman v. Superman.  [cough] nevermind.

Yeah.  One of the most cold, calculating, and intimidating human villains in the DC universe is played by a guy who talks fast all the time like he's nervous and even stutters occasionally.

It's like they were intentionally trying to find the exact opposite of what Lex Luthor is actually like.

DC... Marvel. Why cannot the nerds of the world take a moment to stop fighting and peacefully coexist with each other? Can't we all agree that Batman and Ironman are both cool and then move on from there!?

Luthor in that movie was actually more interesting to watch than Batman.  i think Affleck is a good choice for the part, but he didn't get nearly enough characterization besides the basic Batman story.

So what's this I heard that the Lex Luthor in that was actually the original's "son?"  Did they pull a cop-out card so they wouldn't face backlash from fans for essentially ruining the character?

I'm not sure that I'm qualified to answer that—I've been so focused on Star Wars rumours and stuff, honestly. It's quite fun!

Not that I'm aware. This is Superman's supposed first introduction to Luthor in this extended universe.

The fanbase seems to be a bit iffy on the whole subject.  He does go by Alexander "Lex" Luthor Jr.  And his father was Lex Luthor that died in the year 2000.

But whether his father was the actual original Lex Luthor or not is what nobody can seem to agree on.

But in the comic book universe, there was an Alexander Luthor Jr. that was indeed the original Lex Luthor's clone/son that he placed his brain in, since he had cancer from being exposed to radiation poisoning from kryptonite.
