It feels so weird, in that map topic, seeing a map with all these different nations on it, and not being able to recognize any of them, even though supposedly that's a Wintreath map.
Then I realized that that may be the answer to why it looked like some random new people had an opinion on it for no reason.
It's like there's two different Wintreath groups then? One that is on the "RMB", which I'm guessing means Regional Message Bulletins, from the NS site, and the other is this forum? Not sure if anyone on the forum also uses the RMB, I ignore it because it's basically chaos and every time I look the subject is changed and there's no easy way to keep track of who is who, but apparently there's a large group on there who don't use the forum?

two, yes, you're right about there being a disconnect between the forums and the RMB for some inconceivable reason; oddly that's existed for at least a year, since a couple of those names have in fact been around that long, and just stepped up their activity for some reason. But prior to this, me, Ashton, and Justinian (among others but those are the more recognizable names who were involved) were involved in it, so there was a degree to which it was not so much disconnected as just running in parallel - but then those other guys got into it. And have dug their claws in deep.

I attempted to do all three things, and have provided a handy review for each.

Overall, I'd give Off a 6/10 as a sexual partner. Adequate if unenthusiastic oral. Highlight was the last 10 seconds or so, although much of the preceding 7.2 minutes was solid enough. Would do again, but really that would be the case for anyone with a score above negative numbers.

Shit: awarded negative points as a food, but would still scarf down a whole wet bucket full of shit before I ate another plate of mee krob.

As for death, not a day goes by that I do not seek her warm embrace. Lo, that she may smile upon me and free me from this cursed prison of flesh, and more importantly the student loans shackled to it.

Wait, other people snagged the RMB RP from you? Could you continue to snarl on what happened, because I've been attempting to follow what's happening and I missed that completely.

It's not snagged, so much as joined and then took it in a direction that, progressively, Justinian, Ashton, then myself have sort of just given up on. It's a lot of macho dick-waving, increasingly obvious references to video games that honestly began really obviously so at this point it's blatant 'I have Pelicans, from Halo, the award-winning first-person-shooter video game', and just generally a complete 180 from the fairly realist RP we'd aggressively pursued since Ainur.
This was not helped by Finrod dropping off the map several months ago, or others (the nominally-present-on-the-forums-insofar-as-they-signed-up Aceus Hovda and Lily Polisesul) doing the same thing on the RMB. And so we've just sort of quietly given up, which I imagine is partially motivated by schoolwork for them and mostly motivated by a jaded lack of desire to keep saying 'no, mechs are impractical tools for warfare and we certainly won't have them anytime in the near future' or 'video game things like orbital drop shock troopers, from Halo, the award-winning first-person-shooter video game, are dumb and impractical things that exist only because they sound cool and it's a fucking video game'.
Also I'm annoyed by the fact that they seem to have decided that rather than trying to be an arbiter for the rules that we laid out, I am instead just a 'ball buster' that comes up literally the moment I criticize, no matter how much or on what grounds said criticism occurs.
