    You can't divide by 2 a finite amount of times and reach 0. Did Elb just divide by 2 infinite times?
    This is real life, not math. With real-life exponential decay, everything is based on probabilities; the dot could have easily disappeared at any time, at any place.

    TL;DR: rounding error :P
    ^^And it is this notion of probabilities that makes Physics far nicer than pure mathematics ;)

    (Then again I might be biased...)

    Except for when real life variables get annoying like air resistance or things that seem to be actually random

    But these things don't change too much with things on the large scale

    Also, I think the probabilities makes it more annoying and complex. I don't know if I'd call that nice
