Anywho I was more asking about an analysis on what would be able to change and what wouldn't, along with just seeing if there are any areas I possibly got wrong in my write-up.

Is everyone satisfied with the current structure of the act? I intend to introduce this to the UH at some point.

I still feel we should add Storting Procedural Rules to the Fundamental Laws for this bill, seeing as all citizens are affected.

Well we can pass it ourselves if it doesn't affect the procedural rules... otherwise it'll require a radification by the citizenry, right @Chanku ?

I believe he had said that if it only affected the procedural rules, it wouldn't have to be ratified by the citizenry. And for a bill as major as this, it ought to be decided by them anyway.

Personally I don't think we should include the procedural rules in the Fundamental Laws. the Procedural Rules should be a matter to be decided by the OA when it's formed so it can change easier.

Also if it is a FL amendment it must be passed by the Storting and the Citizenry.

They'd have to be heavily adapted.

And no, you have that backwards, Robin, the procedural rules can be changed at any time by the Underhusen without even requiring the Overhusen's approval. We're busy altering the Fundamental Laws here, which must first make it through the Storting (both chambers), and then be ratified in the next election.

So, is this act constitutional? I've looked through it and see no problems but I'm not terribly versed in Wintreath law.

Yeah, I think it is. It just has to get through the proper channels now.

I don't really care for the change in session schedule, to be honest. I really liked that the sessions corresponded to seasons, which is what I use to time things like State of the Region addresses. I guess it's not a big deal, but...meh.

In a way, they still do correspond with the seasons, only they're right in the middle of them instead of at the beginnings

It's still one per season, so if you wanted to add a seasonal theme to each one, you still could.

And for some reason in recent years, winter hasn't really begun until January and autumn hasn't really begun until October... so it might not be all that inaccurate.

It's not really what I preferred, since it would have been great to have a calendar that aligned both branches of the government, but I will deal with it.

In any case, remember that between ratification and implementation, the Storting will need to go through the statutory law and amend portions that will no longer work with the new system. That could also take a bit of time, and will probably be the Storting's main objective if this amendment passes.
