    In case anyone was wondering where I pulled the MAC from, it's from the Halo series. In case you were wondering how potent a weapon it is, it was the only ship weapon the UNSC had that could touch and destroy Covenant ships. And this is why I have it as such a rare weapon.

    I reread North's last IC post and was wondering what SuperMAGs are then looked in the military section of his factbook and saw how quick the MAGguns and SuperMAGs fired their rounds, and I couldn't help but think that they're a bit too OP. The fastest my railguns fire their rounds is Mach 15, and that's with the super long barrel of the MAC. My normal railguns fire at Mach 10, and those do a shitload of damage to armored targets. Firing solid slugs at just under the speed of light is kinda overdoing it. If you want that kind of projectile speed, I suggest using a laser.

    Over 100,000,000 mph under the speed of light is not slightly under the speed of light. Besides, I designed the Enclave to be good in a short fight but unable to stand in a prolonged conflict. However, I will change the MAGS to laser weapons.

    It actually is. Realistically you can't accelerate anything to any considerable fraction of the speed of light. The speed you just mentioned is about 0.85c, which unless you're using FTL engines, is pretty impossible.

    Edit: Using your SI unit figures in the factbook, it'd actually be closer to 0.6c, but that's actually not much different.
