Not being an organized force makes you more unpredictable, but it can also make your morale more susceptible.

By the way, Aragonn might remember this, but the Laurentians are themselves rather based on pirates. We have a series of smaller ships with incredible speed to pack a serious punch in short and intense bursts too.

I should probably say here that the Kevarian military itself isn't composed of pirates; it's an actual military, just not a very large one (since my empire itself is relatively small). Some pirates have suspected government ties, but none are officially employed (except by some Districts).

I'm cherishing my government while I can; I suspect I'll end up going through most of this RP as a government-in-exile, exploring the outer reaches of the galaxy.

Most nations don't seem to take kindly to other nations that harbor the governments-in-exile of nations vanquished by the aggressor nation.

That was worded oddly, but I couldn't figure out how to say it in a way that came out neatly.

I'm currently working on my post. I was gonna have the Aesir reinforcements arrive a few hours after the struggle ended. Think that's too long?

Is there a galactic time system we are using? I think it would be much easier for some posts.
