@North Why the dislike?

Sorry, using my phone. Gosh dang it to heck.

I know your struggle. When I try to click the page number for a thread, my phone will sometimes highlight it instead.

In most RPs, I generally stay relatively neutral because I'm boring. I think this time I designed my nation in such a way that I'll pretty much need to join an alliance to have any hopes of survival. Oh well, that can be sorted out as the RP goes on.

Unfortunately, it is not as catchy as PvC.

On a more serious note, FtA works rather well.

If I remember correctly, it's nothing like that. It's also been over 5 years since I saw any of the movies, so...

The Senate tried to do diplomacy with the CIS until Sidious Palpatine became Chancellor. Then he ordered a Grand Army of the Republic (Clone Army). He became unopposed by many when he slowly gained power. And few opposed his decision to kill the Jedi.

But that happened over time with much effort. What just happened in your post was instant militarism with absolutely no opposition.
