Man v.v if people are just going to keep betraying me or trying to take advantage of me, then I'm not going to bother talking to people anymore tbh. I'll just go back to how I was in middle school, where I just sat in class and didn't do anything, didn't talk to anyone. At least then no one back stabbed me. ;-;

I hate to be the bearer of bad news....but that's not the way to deal with that kinda stuff. It's just high school. People are dicks at that age. Don't take things quite so seriously dearie. Trust me when I say all of those people won't matter a whit when you get out into the world. Do yourself a favor and focus on you. Make some friends but don't be surprised if they move on or away. Everyone is trying to figure out who the hell they are and it will seem like everyone is two faced or backstabbing. But it's just folks trying to find a place and self that they fit into. Cheer up. Being gloomy ain't gonna do you any good.

On the other hand, sadly there are just as many adults like that as teenagers...people who value others based on little more than what they can do for them, who see nothing wrong with using people and then ditching them, who disappear when their friends need them, or who just ditches them when someone they think can do more for them comes along. It's pretty damn shallow if you ask me, but they're a product of a shallow society.

If my experience is any indication, you'll eventually learn to recognize most of those people and steer clear of them, but I would be careful with who you trust too...especially with your inner thoughts and feelings, because there are few things more gut-wrenching than having someone you trusted using your feelings and the things you told them against you. Just because they call you friend or hang out with you doesn't mean their worthy of your trust...things happen over time that show you if they are or not.

Unfortunately, I'm starting to believe that a lot of people are just dicks at any age.

Yeah. I would get on more, and be more active on NS, but I can't. However it's hard to keep track of things like the Warzones when you are gone for a bit...

-shrugs- not unless I can get my Laptop to connect to the Motel Wifi I am staying at for the time being, which probably won't happen.Maybe I'll have it in a month or two though

You can always be an autistic piece of shit like me whose closest relationship with people from school is just texting them dank memes. Meanwhile instead of hanging out with anyone you can just stay home and play video games while letting yourself get shit grades in the classes you don't care about because you know Special Ed would throw a fit if anyone tried to hold you back.
