If they pursue relations, have them send someone else other than Myroria.  We don't need diplomats disrespectful and dehumanising our citizens here.

I actually didn't mean for this to become about Gov.

I think it's understood by mature regions, which I believe all our diplomatic partners to be, that having Gov in the region has no relation to our foreign affairs, and that as a sovereign region we have a right to determine our own Citizenship according to our laws and customs. When Gov does come up in the context of our foreign relations, it's usually divided between people glad that he's 'getting another chance' and people that are curious what it's like to have him in the community and whether he's changed from their previous experiences with him. There are some people that try to bring it up as an issue, but I've never seen them succeed because he has no role or authority in our region's foreign policy.

At most, some regions have respectfully requested that he not be sent to their regions as an ambassador, and those requests are always honoured, as regions have a sovereign right to accept or refuse diplomats from other regions. We wouldn't accept someone that had been declared persona non grata as a diplomat, for example.

It is my girlfriends birthday today... Her 18th, to be precise. Traditionally her birthdays are pretty shot so I've put some work into making this one a good one. Got a couple hundred dollars, got all of our friends that I could, and an open house. So it's a party tonight, breakfast out this morning. First, she gets to sleep in... Would it at all be possible to have a notification area that is similar to NationState's one? Where all notifications can be shown when someone quotes you, likes/dislikes your posts, mentions you, etc?

It would go a long way in keeping up to date with events and discussions.

I actually do like the idea of getting notifications when someone quotes or likes/dislikes a post, since many times topics can get lost or forgotten about, and even when someone quotes you...you may never know.
