Does anyone have any tips for overcoming procrastination?

I'll share with you a text I got from my friend and workout partner when I was struggling to find the motivation to get up for a 7 am workout.


Yes. It's okay though. I understand. Not everyone can get up every morning and train there ass off to a higher level while others sleep. The wolf always rises before the sheep. It's a lifestyle few can implement in their lives and that's why there are so many burnouts. It's hard. Very hard and not meant for everyone. ...

Every now and then someone needs to get shot to wake them up and get themselves out of the routine of the motions and realize how real this all is and how hard it can be.  We train to do something no one else can do and that is to become a 5 percenter. The 5 percent of this nation that can out work and out do the rest of the 95. We train to become the best of the best. The tip of the spear.

If a friend sent me that message I'd slap them silly. Nothing comes between me and my sleep.

You sound embarrassed about it. Don't be. I have too and I think many people would have... While I don't know your particular situation I'm sure you had your reasons and that you're going to be fine.

Well...that escalated quickly.

If all goes right, the events of the next few weeks will lower the region's gameplay profile and return us to our roots of just being an open and fun region for anyone that wants to be...well, open and fun. Many times I long for how things used to be, but having examined the events from then to now I know I could take no different action. This region is best at having fun and building friendships...and the occasional flirting and sexy talk with region-mates! And we have so many hot region-mates...mmm....
