It's an incredibly tragic event.  Let's hope justice can be served to those responsible for this.

It really does. If there's anything I've learned it's that you can't let someone else threaten you into doing or not doing something, whether the person threatening you is a bully, a radical, or a terrorist group. If you allow them to do so, not only do they win, you merely encourage and enable them to go even further...make more demands, make more threats, take it to the next level. The best course of action is to stand firm and let them know that you will not be intimidated by them.

Even if doing so is sometimes painful...as we see today...

I finally moved out of my flat and back to my mom's house. Actually feels pretty good man.

I've got a pretty sweet setup too. I can say it's much more comfortable. I won't have to study with the books on my knees anymore!

Any ideas on the decoration?

First step would be to remove the owls and shit and replace them with something badass. I actually might need to replace them just to get more space for books. One time I'll check out action figures or something similar.

Second step would be to get a few posters on the walls. I have one Mario poster, but I'd like to get Paradox posters if they even exist

Third step would be to replace the lamp with a big lava lamp. This will be done, no exception.

Fourth, I need to fill the mini-fridge with Mountain Dew (the mini-fridge in the bedroom is a big part of why I'm so happy lol).

Fifth, maybe I will change the bed sheets for something cooler. You can't see them because the bed's shelved in the pics, but they're a bit generic (warm, though, which is really nice on -30C nights like the last one).

And finally, one day I might replace the curtains with ones that aren't yellow.

And yes, I'm a complete Nintendo dork, I know...my summer bed sheets are Mario Kart sheets.

I used to have a lava lamp...it was pretty cool, but for the last few years I've used white Christmas lights to provide dim light in the room. I really don't do well with bright light...I'm pretty sensitive to it, especially after my illness a few years back. I love ambient lighting though...

So, earlier this week a new Calvin Klein campaign came out featuring Justin Bieber...who was sporting an almost obscenely large bulge in those briefs, and for some reason this was a big news thing this week. So someone gets ahold of the original unedited pictures and it turns out the bulge is massively photoshopped, lol. I dunno why, it just amuses me that size is such a big deal in society, I guess.
