I have so many games that I need to play when I have time...but one game I'd like to try to learn again is Dwarf Fortress. I've known of the game since around 2006, when the guy I was into at the time started playing it. He was super-smart (and autistic), so he caught onto it immediately. I tried a few times, but gave up cause of the graphics more than anything.

Unfortunately he wasn't super-wise as well. He ended up knocking up his best friends' wife...just after breaking up with his own boyfriend.

Relationships between people are strange.

DF seems fun to play around with. I didn't care much about the graphics, but I gave up because of the interface and the learning curve.

Yeah...

I just have so many games I want to delve into, and it's hard to do so just on a weekend. I can't wait until my December vacation so I can have a few weeks just for gaming.

I just spent my day watching Repo! The Genetic Opera for the 5000th-5003rd time. Watched it through normally, then with the actor commentary, then with the crew commentary.

This happens far more than it should.

That time when you want to tell someone that their concerns are irrelevant and don't really matter in the slightest in the grand scheme of things, but can't because you're speaking as a third party to the whole thing and you're unsure if the party you're speaking in support of would appreciate such bluntness.

So, apparently the Osiris Fraternal Order is voting on a declaration of war on the People's Republic of Lazarus.

Wintreath has a treaty with the People's Republic of Lazarus that includes a mutual defense clause.

Could definitely be an interesting few months if events go a certain way.

The text of the war declaration gives a bunch of excuses and spin, but the truth would seem to be that the people behind the coup that brought the OFO to power appear to wish to coup a second sinker.
