The Guild roster has been updated to account for the activity over the past month. The Wild Men of Wichita has been started up, so that means we have some promotions to give out!

Congrats to out newest Acolyte, @Justinian Ezkantion , and our newest Novices, @Mariam , @Doc , and @Aceus Hovda !

I've just read this thread again for once in my life and I like the rank system(mostly because im number 1 at the moment). But man, I'm number 1. I guess WSE really had a successful start. If only I kept up in activity >.< Oh well I'm first for now until robin takes over the mantle for WSE season 2 :p

I just updated the roster list and points last night, and it looks like we've got some promotions!

@Cinciri and @Ashton Mercer have risen to the rank of Curate (6).

@Justinian Ezkantion-Telcontar has risen to the rank of Adept (5).

@Doc has risen to the rank of Initiate (3).

And we have three new members:
@Fayt and @Elbbsas have earned the rank of Acolyte (4), and @Aethelia has earned the rank of Initiate (3).

It's basically just a formal way to organize and promote the RP community here. The leaders are the Patriarch (Aragonn), the Council (North, BraveSirRobin, and taulover), and me as the Jarl of Culture. We all work together to make sure everything's running smoothly. There are ranks (based only on the number of: posts you make in RP, RPs you join, and RPs you host) to help show who's put the most into the community and give them an incentive to continue doing so. That's pretty much it. So if you want to start an RP, we can work together to make it happen. If you just want to roleplay, everything's in one place (the Gathering Portal) to make it easy to see what's available.

The original idea was to sustain RP, as we pretty much brought it back after it died, and were met with one problem after another trying to bring it back for the longest time. My approach to the problem was to formally unite the RPers in an organisation that would identify its own leadership, and make sure successors could always be found by going through a ranking system in the guild. There have been some slight modificastions, but this still mostly holds true.

So, how do I go about getting my Castaways RP it's own place in the actual RP subforum?
