(OOC: I'm the first post of the third and second pages....weird)
"Interesting point. I agree. I'm for no leader."

Edgar speaks up for the first time since entering the testing room. "Fine by me."

Klause grinned, unfolded his arms and flopped dramatically back into his seat.

"Sure. Let's go with that - if we can manage to agree on things long enough to make any decisions as a group..."

Looks up from her guns for a moment "no leader sounds good"

GM: Very interesting. Since a majority vote has been reached, there shall be no party leader.

A very tall man wearing some formal-looking uniform steps into the room. In a gravelly bass voice, he says, "Next group follow me in." You feel compelled to do so.

You file into a large, white room with metal protrusions everywhere. There is a lone man at the other end.

The man who led you in speaks again, "This is your test. Fight to kill that man at the other end of the room. Do not hesitate, do not hold back. Your test begins now."

GM: Combat mode is activated.

This test is similar to those Nicholas was subjected to when he was younger. Without hesitation, he flicks out a knife and throws it at the man.

OOC: Note that Nick is not magnetically projecting the knife, just throwing it. EDIT: Did I break a rule? I reread them to make sure that attacks don't require command words...

Edgar protest suddenly in a somewhat out of character fashion. "But superheros are good! They don't kill people!"

"D-damn it." -I pull my bow off of my back and load an arrow, I fire it at the person.- Action: Shoots an arrow at the man.

Martha pulls out her guns and calmly shoots at the man. Her face loses all emotion in an almost frightening fashion..

Ethan looks around. "Shit. I need to get close."

Action: He wrenches a small piece of metal from the nearest protrusion.

"No, I agree with Edgar. Why do we have to kill this person?"
Action: Kazallu uses her power to search through the man who led us in's memory for a reason.

Klause turned his head fractionally, bringing the projection of a man into sight at the far end of the range. He slid his hand into an inner jacket pocket and withdrew a 9 inch nail. Almost invisible lines along his arms and shoulders, snaking up his neck and around his eyes suddenly burst into luminescence, and Klause lifted his glowing eyes, letting them slide over the projection. A moment later, he dropped the nail; before it could rotate once, it flicked away, propelled towards the target.

Action: Using a 10-second burst of power, Klause propels a 9-inch nail towards the target with telekinesis.

Sharq, who had so far gone unnoticed and quiet so far, starts to climb the metal protrusions, aiming to get over the enemy and avoid any black crosses (friendly fire incident). He wasn't totally confident the ballistic attacks would work.

Action: Climbs metal protrusions up about three meters and starts going around the walls of the room at this height.

(OOC: I don't mind the no leader clause in our group either.)

GM: The mysterious man is hit by the knife, arrow, bullet, and nail. He is completely unfazed. With a maniacal grin, he utters his first words to the party: "Now, now. You'll have to do better than that."

Kazallu looks through the other man's mind for a clue or a reason, but only stumbles upon the words "For the Greater Good" multiple times.
