-I am kinda startled by Ethan- "Who are you?"

"M'name's Ethan, and I have to say, you are a sorry bunch of people."

-lets off a low growl and hisses lightly- And? -You notice something moving from side to side rather quickly, and It's a little puffed out.-

GM: Just as a note, that could be interpreted as some very mild powerplay. Just letting you know.

"And why would I want to be in a group with you?"

OOC: Sorry about my absence. Lots of IRL stuff going on.

Nick, who has been quiet thus far, says, "Why should you not?" He gestures around the room. "We are all here. If nothing else, it seems to be a matter of convenience."

Klause observed the mini power-struggle with faint amusement. None of my business, he concluded, and decided to throw his vote in with whoever had the most. After all, they could surely choose someone else later on.

OOC: Didn't realize that could be considered Powerplaying, sorry.
"I don't know. Hell I don't know, why I was put in a group with you."

OOC: No problem, doesn't matter right now. I'm making sure it doesn't happen when it does matter.

"And so I should choose some wimpy girl as our 'party leader'?"

"Are you talking to me?"

"Or to me?"

Klause stood up, stretched his arms, and locked eyes with Ethan.

"Can you guys seriously not decide who should be a group leader for the training period without arguing? Jesus, it's not a big deal, you don't have to flex your muscles and be all macho about it," he growled, before turning to the girl who'd spoken up. "Sorry, you can ignore the macho comment if you want. But goddamn, it's nothing worth fighting over. Why don't you all just say what experience you've got being a leader or whatever, and then we decide together?"

With his piece said, he crossed his arms and gazed levelly around the room at everyone in the group.

Edgar looks onto the bickering with some trepidation and some amusement. It would seem that even those who aspire to be superheros can't resist the human urges to bicker and argue over perceived positions of power. Thus far, the only person that seems to have been halfway respectable is Klause, but he says nothing and waits for the conversation to continue.

"Nevermind, it's not really worth the trouble. Besides I wouldn't be the best idea now that I think about it, for me to be leader."

"You know it has just occurred to me... What purpose does a leader have? Each of our abilities has obvious practical applications in fights and otherwise... Based on these arguments alone, giving any one of us power over the others is more than we should have. I vote for no leader."

GM: That's totally legal. You can choose to have no leader. If that happens, you will make party decisions through majority vote. You can have a vote to have a leader later, if you so choose.

"I wouldn't mind that."
