I'm considering a massive restructuring of the forums, to eliminate many subforums, merge forums that have become inactive, and generally make the forums easier to navigate and understand. I'd appreciate any feedback.

Proposed Outline:

The Frozen Gatehouse (Starting Point)
Introductions/Ask Me Anything (moved from Howling Wind Tavern)
Gatekeep's Post

The Old Town (Culture)
The Amalyan Quarter
The Frostmist Arena (Werewolf and Minecraft subforums)
The Wonderful World of Wintreath (merged with The Wintreath Chronicles)
The Dumping Grounds

*All roleplays will be archived as they are long inactive. Roleplay discussion will move to the Amalyan Quarter

The Frozen Village of Fourneshore (Discussion)
Howling Wind Tavern
The Gaming Lounge
The Hall of Great Discussions
Wintwhorefell (adult forum)

The Government of Wintreath (Government)
The Storting
The Citizen's Platform
Frosthold Castle (with Cabinet subforum)
The Civil Service
Stormjöden (private military forum)
The Charax Romanov Embassy Complex

*World Assembly resolutions would move to The Citizen's platform, which would now be for all Citizen government discussions. Frosthold Castle would become strictly for Monarch/Cabinet announcements.

I've often felt the Dumping Grounds should be in the entertainment-based Culture area instead of the discussion-based area.

However I'm not sure the Citizen's platform is the right place for.the World Assembly section. I know how scarce activity is there, anyway, but I always thought the Citizens platform was a part of the Storting.

Many regions have a general Citizens area where they can discuss all aspects of government, and I thought it would be convenient for our Citizens to adopt it here. No one portion of government is terribly active, and I can't imagine that any legislative discussions would get drowned out. Some topics from Frosthold Castle that aren't announcements would be moved there as well.

Huh...so that's what the adult forum is called.  Interesting.

In any case, both the new forum layout and header will probably be rolled out tomorrow or Friday, depending on when I have time.

Mind waiting for a bit to release the new header....like never. Or at least make it op-in. I prefer the current one.

There probably won't be an opt-in option. There's limited space on the current header to include new menu options, so even we kept it there would be no way to keep it up to date without redesigning it...which is what we've done here anyway.

For the record, I'm looking forward to the new forum layout and the new header. I think the updated header looks very modern and streamlined

Then can you make it an option to swap between the two? I prefer the current one and find the new one to be severely boring without the banner and I personally find the current one somewhat ugly :/

*facepalms* you would make some cheesy motto like that for it. 

I'll say quite like the proposed changes.  In particular moving the AMA's to the gatehouse, and the dumping grounds to the old town. To me at least both of these make a lot of sense and should make it seem neater 

I'm indifferent to the proposed changes. However I do have a suggestion regarding the new header. Maybe this skin can be copied and the new header applied to it. That way there actually is an opt-in choice.

Why does the donate tab say "krone"?

In the future, you will be able to buy krone.
