I'd be cool with a little later but I couldn't really do anything more than 2 hours later...

Tonight would be best for me, but we would need people to confirm quick as well as figure out a time.

I refuse to play any more Civ V games until I get a promise from Wintermoot that the games will only be restarted if the game's settings are incorrect. He restarted today's game because the game placed Venice in a Tundra instead of on the coast, and Crush wanted to restart because Venice can only have one city. So apparently if you have a bad start wintermoot will restart the game for you.

By the game mechanics, Venice is supposed to start on the coast, but it did not in this case even with start bias enabled, probably due to the small size of the map. This is an issue that nobody could have reasonably known would happen unless it'd actually happened before, so I consider that an actual game flaw. Crushita requested a restart so he could choose another civ, and seeing as it was based on a game flaw, it was only turn 6 and three out of four players were ok with it, I allowed it.

I regret that you don't agree with the decision, but given the facts at hand I stand behind it. I hope you will reconsider in the future.

Actually it has been recorded as starting before. The game may or may not actually place a person with start-bias on. Start Bias isn't really 100%, it's a bias, a chance of it occurring.

When was there a game today?  I saw no announcement.  Just some last minute decision today.

@Govindia, I didn't organize this game, merely hosted it. I believe Crushita primarily organized this game.
