I actually completely forgot about Balder, despite the fact that I know the NLO/NPO likes to brag about it (I stalk the Pacific/Lazarus RMBs a bit).

I didn't know about Elegarth was in line for TWP, though.  That's a bit disconcerting.

Our Autarch has a front row seat to the events unfolding in Balder; he's a member of the royal family.

I've been watching Elegarth's rise in TWP with rapt attention.

Rach and NES are saying the Balder thing is a joke and they haven't sided with anyone. I doubt they'll get involved on PRL's side, because the imperialists have always been upset over the circumstances that a few of them got removed from the region right before it was founded...probably rightfully so. I wasn't aware it was anything more serious, though.

Elegarth is in politics with TWP's forum government, but due to how they divide the forum and in-game governments, he's not in line for the delegacy as far as I'm aware. Of course, that could change over time...TWP is another largely inactive region like Lazarus was, rapt for takeover from within by somebody.

I was just reading that too.  Apparently they swear up and down that the changing of the flag and whatnot was a joke, but everyone liked the new flag.  But there's still some that don't believe that Balder isn't as neutral as its officials are saying.

You know, I'm surprised that none of you has mentioned Balder's recent descent into Francoism, or the fact that Elegarth seems in prime position to take over TWP after Darkesia.

With Rachel Anumia it was bound to happen.  She came from Europeian stock after all.

Yes, the Sweet Leaf must be on our side. That's why he's listed as Regent of the New Lazarene Order.

The regions that have been supporting the Lazarene Underground State include The East Pacific, The North Pacific, The South Pacific, Osiris, The Rejected Realms, Spiritus, Taijitu, Wintreath, the Founderless Regions Alliance, and others. Those are major regions, and they aren't neutral.

It came to power in 2003 and through very low endorsement caps and rare changes in leadership (Krulltopia has been Emperor of the NPO for nearly six years) has held an ironclad grip on the region since. Apparently having one GCR wasn't enough, so they decided to seize a second.

I'm a little surprised that 10KI wasn't mentioned in supporting the Underground.  I would have figured they'd be a mention since, if I recall, they've been attempting to help liberate Lazarus.

I don't think anyone can deny 10KI's influence as a major region.

That being said, their influence isn't as obvious because of their isolationist stance...they don't mingle as much with people outside their own region, so it's easy to overlook them in inter-regional affairs.

Well that's true, I guess.  As much as they do end up doing, they're still pretty isolationist.

I actually wasn't really believing they were that isolationist until I learned that they don't even consider Non-WA citizens as citizens.  :\  If you want to be able to take complete part and even vote, you have to be completely dedicated to them and nobody else, and that includes having your WA nation be specifically with them.
