From the bar, Elbbsas dips her head towards Cin'ciri in acknowledgement.

"Greetings! I'm Elbbsas, of the Pogglind Colony. What brings you to these parts?"

Emerging from the shadows, the Lord Inquisitor phases into existence at the corner table just long enough to tip his hat and cast a half smile towards the newcomer.

  "Well met my new friend. I figured it best to travel around the region and see what there is to see, and meet as many people as I can, friendships are valuable things to acquire I'm sure you know. Plus whilst I am the leader of my lands, it does not mean that I enjoy the politics at all" Cin'ciri chuckled to himself

"Indeed! Friendships are the spice in the meal that is life. Unless the meal is ice-cream -- then you'd probably not want spices in it. Hm. That analogy got away from me. So, how are you finding Wintreath? Not too cold for your tastes?"

Cin'ciri grinned. "I actually prefer the cold to warmth in all honesty, makes wearing ceremonial armor a bit more comfortable and the landscape is always beautiful when covered in snow! Also I do like cinnamon or mint on ice cream, so there are some spices that work well with it, just not more savory spices like basil."

"Ha, I forgot that mint counted as a spice. I will need to try it on one occassion or another, as well as cinnamon. And I could not agree more on the splendor of a frost speckled land. I could do without the storms and the snowballs, but the views more than make up for it -- especially on a clear night."

Elbbsas takes a sip of her drink, then gestures up towards the ceiling.

"Speaking of the night, have you seen the 'super' moon in recent days? I only caught a glimpse during a patch of open sky, but it was impressive."

Tau Valeria walked in.

"I do not believe I have ever been here before," he remarks.

Noticing the partially confused man, Cin'ciri turned around. "Well that makes two of us friend!" He turned back to Elbbsas. "I in fact have, my people are more nocturnal than not sometimes, and we often look towards the sky."

Elbbsas's head tilts in surprise.

"Really? That's cool. You must have impressive knowledge of astronomy. My own people live in the cavern cities deep in our islands, so it is not often we see the stars. Couple that with stormy weather and, well, stars are a rare treasure."

Elbbsas then turns to the newcomer.

"What about you? How d'you feel about stars?"

"Beautiful, absolutely beautiful," Tau replied. "I can't wait for the micromoon next week—the dark sky will definitely improve viewing and imaging conditions!"

Q appears in the tavern, accompanied by his favourite Mariachi band.

"Bonjour humans!  I come from the Continuum with wonderful news!  I'm officially the Qest Q in the multiverse!!  The crème de la crème de la crème!!  Q extraordinaire, Q beyond belief!  Clearly celebration is in order!  Comienza la música, amigos!"

"And to those of you speaking about astronomy—you don't have to feign fascination with that pitiful excuse for a celestial body!  There are much more vast wonders in the universe, wonders that are truly astounding!  Supernovae!  Quasars!  And yet you are all dumbfounded by the your own unremarkable 'Moon'.  Even your name for it is mundane!  Oh the humanity!!"

Having been disturbed by a sound that could only be the most terrible of omens, the Lord Inquisitor materialized from shadow in an instant, bolt pistol already leveled across the table at the leader of the Mariachi band.  His eyes narrowed as he took in the scene before him. 

Rolling his eyes with an exasperated sigh, Colberius slipped his pistol back into the depths of his coat.  "Q, so help me..." He closed his eyes and pressed a thumb and forefinger to his temples.  "Next time you disturb the peace with that Mariachi nonsense of yours, I'm just going to shoot them all before becoming visible."

Eyes still closed, the Lord Inquisitor called out, "@Aubrey, are you around here somewhere? If Q's here, I'm gonna need the strongest Romulan ale you have in stock."

Elbbsas pouts.

"But the moon IS awesome! Admittedly, it can do with a better name, but 'moon' has such history to it! Wait, what's a micro moon?"

Elbbsas realizes that there is a Mariachi band and wonders how on earth she missed them. She reaches behind the bar and grabs a glass of water.

"Huh," she says quietly. "That's new."

Mathyland walks in the tavern he's been avoiding for too long.

"Hi" , he says.

"The micromoon is when it's farthest away from Earth," Tau explained. "This month, it coincides with the new moon, so there won't be a moon to see! And as Q so wisely noted—though to mistake my interest in the micromoon as interest in the moon is not so wise—that means we can focus on the actually interesting things!"

Tau then noticed Mathy walking in. "Hello!" he greeted.
