Actually, I'm going to change my vote until TCL explains why he felt compelled to vote for Barry.

I misread the Ater's post and thought he had voted for Ceberius (1 row off in the list).

Other than that I was in a rush to vote before class started and figured I'd vote for an Islander. I now see the error of my ways.

Let's watch a smashing game shall we?

Ater and Candy put out their hands and do the count.    Everyone watches as Ater wins the first round, countering Candy's Yoda with his Vader.  The next round starts, and Candy wins, countering Ater's Waterfall with his Dynamite.  It comes down to the last round, as the opponents do the count, and silence hits the room.  The camera zooms to show Ater's hand making the paper sign, with Candy's holding the scissors sign.

Nigel: And it looks like Candy has won this match!

Ater mumbles as he prepares and heads to the stage, as cameras shift over to him walking on.

Stewie: And you are...?

Ater: Aterus Noxius, but my friends just call me Ater Nox.

Speak and Spell: THAT. IS. A. LAME. NAME.

Snape: indeed.  What will you be performing?

Ater: I can turn water into wine.

Ater holds up his glass of water and snaps his finger.  The glass explodes and wine spills everywhere, covering every person.  The judges hit their Xs right away, as Ater takes his wine-covered self off stage.

Nigel: Smashing!  And next up, we have another special contestant!

The cameras switch back to the stage, magically cleaned by Snape. 

Stewie: Now THAT'S a talent worth remembering.

Another contestant, looking like a greek god, struts onto the stage.

Snape: Name?

VarunHebli: Odyssius "VarunHebli" Orion.

Stewie: Talent?

VarunHebli: I can sing opera.

Speak and Spell: NO.

The judges hit their Xs, obviously tired of another singing talent.  VarunHebli calls to the skies as he's whisked away by lightning bolt.

Stewie: The hell was that?! Why couldn't that have been his talent!?

Aternox has been booted from the show, and VarunHebli has been booted due to inactivity.  Both were contestants.

It's commercial break folks!  Special roles, please send me your choices for the commercial.  We'll pick things up tomorrow at 6PM PST.

The vote for Ater was indeed a vote to save myself, I'm sorry to see he turned out to be a villager. I hope you guys understand that my original vote was simply a misreading of the voting records. Let's hope our defenders are successful and we get a wolf tomorrow.

Ouch, losing Ater is a terrible blow. He's one of our best players.

Sorry. I thought we had more time as I read Pengu's post as saying the day phase wouldn't start until Wednesday afternoon. 

I think I'm going to suggest turns be a day longer in future games. I personally think the turns are going by a bit fast...=/

48 hours is plenty of time in my opinion, but it's your forum. I just got busy last Saturday at work (was expecting a slow day) and then when I got home I forgot about it because I was playing with my 4 kids.

It's Pengu's game, I'm just making a suggestion.

True, I'm normally a hyperactive participant in these games, but with this being on a new (to me) forum, plus work being crazy of late I haven't really had the time to devote to it like I normally do.

Are you enjoying the game and the forums though? Anything I can do to help you with the forum-end?

This is actually the only thread I've looked at or posted in, sorry. I have looked at some of the layout and I think it's fabulous what you've got. I also love the place names. I'm a huge fan of fantasy novels and RPG stuff so I do think it's really appealing. I've simply got limited time. I have 4 children, I'm the Mayor of Taco Island back in 10KI and I'm our emissary to Canada. It eats up a lot of my day.
