Alright so with the land claim map I made for Isenron I decided to make an archive of my maps, for not only Isenron but also the world as well...

NOTE: The maps now include Spawn. It's not marked as a town or nation, but as a landmark for the time being.


So here we go:

If you want to help please install Journymap(and if possible GeoSharer) and send me the images from the .minecraft/Journymap folder for the server(day folder).

Also I am putting together a GeoSharer map so if you want you should also install that so it will map the same regions at the same time...then just contact me and send me your .geosharer files.

Note 2: If you built spawn contact me if you want to move Spawn to City/Nation status. If nation let me know the name of the nation, city, and land claims(you may include preferred colors for boarders if you wish). If it's a city let me know the name of the city.

ALSO for land claims a map or copy of the relevant section of the map with the boarders attached. I prefer .pdn's with a layer for the boarder as it's easier to transfer.

Also Wintermoot, if you want your place to be a nation of sorts, you need to provide a name for it and a copy of the relevant section for land claims (prefer .pnd's with the boarder on a separate layer). If you wish you may also specify a color, otherwise I'll choose one.

(One thing I noticed is that the original map of the rivers north of spawn are inaccurate, for some reason.)

Impressive map...great job!

With the snow falling on everything it can be hard to see some areas, but it seems we've got quite a little town going on near the spawn point.

It's spelled border*.  boarder is someone who is scaling and boarding a vessel.

My mapping has been updated!

If you were in the game at the same time as I was, you might have recalled that I had expressed the intent to map all of Wintreath. I haven't, at least not yet. But I have circumnavigated its borders, and marked its northernmost, westernmost, southernmost, and easternmost points! (I would like to note that @HannahB and @Andromedian marked another westernmost point, but I soon found that that point was not in fact the westernmost one; the actual point lies far more to the south.)

That's an excellent map! It kind of reminds me of China for some reason...

I just had a thought: Would it be possible to add the Dynmap plugin to the Wintreath server? That way, we can see what everyone has already explored, in real time. On the other hand, having a real-time map of everyone's explorations might be a little strange.

I've looked into that before, and we can't with our current hosting. I don't remember why exactly...it may have needed a dedicated IP, but we'd have to upgrade to a more expensive package to run it.

Ah, ok. Does our server hosting plan allow for you to obtain the world file? Then you could manually make a map, which would still be better than any maps we non-admins can make.
