So Hydra and I have been trying to tame an ocelot for about an hour now, to no success.

Hydra's tamed two cats already, and when we try to tame this ocelot, it just simply behaves differently. Instead of showing the bonemeal growth particles, it's entering love mode, showing the hearts and immediately exiting begging mode.

Could anyone be of help? I've searched online, and people are just repeating the "spam it with more fish," which is useless because you simply can't feed an ocelot in love mode.

  It's probably an adult.  That was my problem, too.  It's not a baby, so it's going to probably have to literally walk up to you and then you feed it, I think. I'm not sure, really.  Hydra literally had to teach me how to feed a fish to an ocelot... needless to say I've come a bit of a ways in the art of cat taming in 3 hours...

@taulover: The coordinates of the new colony are 1724/y/1194.  It's WAY beyond the borders of Wintreath.

That's not too far out. Last time Hydra was at z=30,000 or something. My own home is only at around 3000 though. (Edit: don't take my word for this, I am probably wrong)

And it seems that Wintermoot has finally decided to venture out of his frozen realm! Unless he was joking to me about never leaving it, of course.

Last night was fun...spent some time exploring with @Colberius X, and we found an awesome place for a new colony! It's picturesque, with a nice clearing in a forest, with mountains in the background protecting fertile valleys...it's something right out of Banished. I've already envisioned a quaint community of small houses and log cabins...farms and wells and humble community spaces. I'm excited to build my own.

What game are you speaking of?

Do you have the coordinates? I'd like to check it out next time I'm online. Also, is it still within the borders of Wintreath?

Hydra and I paid a little visit to your new settlement. I'd actually say that it's rather close to Wintreath, though. I've definitely been there before in my mapping (probably in June or August), though I am unfortunately having troubles exporting that map.

I'll go on for a bit to see this new colony!

As a suggestion, you might wanna look into Lockette. Not only does it keep items secure (since anyone with your IP can hop on and take anything from chests/forges/etc.), but it also allows for commands that auto-open and shut doors based on a timer.

I actually...kept shutting doors that were open. XD

And we try to be friendly and all, so we don't really secure stuff too much. We do have wonder chests for the actual really valuable stuff though!
