Italy.  While I've never been there before, I feel like I'd belong there.

Is it the culture? Hmmm...Or how about the food?

It might be because I'm predominantly Italian as far as my heritage pool goes. 

I have other slices in there, but the Italian side is the biggest out of all of them.

My mom's parents immigrated from Italy, so I'm "half" Italian. I'm lucky enough to have been able to visit both Rome and the small town where my grandparents are from (central Adriatic side) a few times. It's a beautiful place, and there's such a stark difference between the big city and the countryside, but both are pretty great in their own ways. Plus, the food is fucking delicious. I'd highly recommend it to those who are able.

My wife has some step-second-cousins (or something like that) who are from Tuscany, which I've heard is like the best region to visit, though I doubt we'll ever be able to make it out there since my mom wouldn't be paying this time, haha.

I do love some good Italian food as well.    I'd love to have some actual authentic Italian cuisine, though.

I think I'd like to move to Italy. It's a beautiful country with a rich history which I'd love to visit when i get the chance. My dream is to one day build a giant castle there and retire.

Why would I leave this?

lol, it's funny...I have this acquaintance that I met a few years back on a website for LGBT nerds/geeks, and on that site everyone was all about moving to New York City, and he actually did move there from Florida. Now it seems like everyone is all about Seattle, and now he's in the process of moving from NYC to there.

Hrm. I would probably move to Germany, Russia, or Sweden. All have things I would love to see. Also I am part Russian (IIRC my great grandfather escaped Russia during the Bolshevik revolution). Germany is also because I am interested in it and I am learning German. Sweden because it is rather nice.

Most likely it would come down to New Zealand, one of the African countries, Vietnam, or Indonesia.
For the latter ones it is because of the heat.  I would hate monsoon season though because I hate it when it rains.  I always feel cold so the heat would be nice for a change.
I loved it in New Zealand when I went so that is why I would go there.
I have some interest in some of the European nations but the Eurocentric history system drives me away.  I would be more interested in the history of less well known groups like the Maori, Aborigines, African tribes, South American natives, Native Americans, etc.
