    Rumour has it that the Steam summer sale will be starting tomorrow, so BNW and all the Civ v content will probably be super-cheap at least one of those days. :D

    Awesome :D so maybe some people who haven't even got Civ just now could join in if it is cheap enough :)

    I've seen Civ V Complete Edition sell for under $15 during various sales, so it's definitely possible it'll be even cheaper now that there's a newer title in the series.

    Also a note: You don't have to own the DLC for the Civilizations. Someone can play as one with the DLC if they have it IIRC.

    In my experience that isn't true, at least with the smaller packs that add Civs. If someone plays one of those Civs and someone without the pack tries to join the game, it won't let them. We have had to have people change Civs cause of that a few times.
