Since I've somehow managed to have been roped into NUK, I'll take it!

At the moment, we need ambassadors for The Allied States and Osiris, if anyone wants to become one.

Several ambassadors have been removed for inactivity. The following regions are now open:

The Independent Order
The West Pacific
The Allied States
Osiris

Additionally, Chanku has indicated to me that he wishes to resign, but will cover his regions until replacements are found...that opens up these additional regions:

Renegade Islands Alliance
The South Pacific
The East Pacific

Just checked my Wintreath citizenship nation, and realized that I'd been TG'd a month ago letting me know that I've been masked. Should I go ahead and post Orendi X, or just wait for the next update?

Also, I just noticed that we don't have embassy subforums here anymore?

We haven't done embassy forums for a long time...it's just that the Rejected Realms had one by virtue of having been an ally from before we changed the system. Now all regions have a consulate, with allies having theirs pinned to the top.

We have some ambassador postings that are still open! If you are interested at all, please reply with the postings that you would like.

After we fill these, there are some others I'd like to hand off that I'm doing myself at the moment, but these are the priority.

Thanks for applying...you can start by posting our latest Orendi over to RIA.

Just bumping this again...there are six regions that we have no assigned ambassador to. In some cases we've never been able to send an ambassador to them, and in others the posting has been empty for a few months now. We really need some volunteers here.

Not sure how to interpret that post and what seems, in my opinion, to be very low requirements for an ambassador.
There are many others who have been here longer than me, but perhaps if they were going to take the remaining ambassador positions, they would have done so already? I've been here a short time compared to the others. Seems to be going well, I like it, and I don't have any reason to believe anyone doesn't like me, but I've only barely been here long enough that someone might see one of my posts and think "Hey, didn't that person post once or twice before?". Until I've been here a lot longer, knowing that I have wandered between many regions over my years on NationStates, I acknowledge that I haven't given anyone a good guarantee that I won't just wander off again in a week. I don't intend to wander off soon, but I can't prove that. So the question is, is it important enough to find someone for the ambassador positions that someone who is relatively new and almost completely unknown here can be trusted to do it?
If yes, I don't care for Osiris, but would find it funny as an Irish-American to be the ambassador to Kingdom of Scotland, and possibly one of the other small regions.

I think you're both overthinking the situation and not giving yourself enough credit. You've been very active in the community lately, and I think you've gone to great lengths to share who you are with us...I'd hardly say you're almost completely unknown, or that you shouldn't be trusted.

If you want to serve as ambassador, just take your pick of region or regions you want to be assigned to.

I'd like to apply to take The East Pacific and Osiris. I'll try not to completely fail like last time .

I might take another one or two later, but I'll start with just these two for now.

I'll take the Versutian Federation as a third region if nobody else is going to sign up.
