I will answer with the absolute truth to any question, because I have absolutely no shame. I just won't answer questions regarding personal info like my CC number or SIN/SSN. I'm doing this because I want to make friends here, so hopefully you guys get to know me a little better through this

I'm a Québécois, but on my grandfather's side, they were Acadian migrants who came to Quebec after the deportation led them all the way to Louisiana, and my great-grandfather on my grandma's side was Scottish and German.

I guess this kind of depends on your answer do Amalya's question, but how do you feel about the Quebec sovereignty movement?

I'm a sovereigntist and I'm still pretty pissed at the Subversion of Democracy(tm) debacle in 1995. One of my earliest memories is my mom crying because the referendum failed with so little a margin. Later on during the sponsorship scandal, we would learn what the Feds got their grubby little hands on and this is my formative angst moment : it pretty much defined my political stance, especially the distrust I hold towards elected representative officials, my no-bullshit stance in campaigning (the thing I hate the most in the world is negative campaigning and cheating in elections - it's robbing us of the most important tool in our arsenal to affect national politics) and the high respect I hold towards basic human rights, including a people's right to autodetermination.

There are very few things I dislike more than soccer, so no. If you had made it judo, that would have been awesome.

1. In American parlance, liberal, but I consider myself a social democrat. The closest American analogue I can think of is Bernie Sanders, the VT senator.
2. I'm neither - I'm agnostic. I don't like banking anything upon faith alone, and as I have seen no proof that an Architect, God, Creator - call it what you want - exists or not, I prefer to take the coward's way out and sit on the fence on this one. To me, even atheism requires a degree of faith.

1. I have a cat. Cats suck, they are egostical, dumb and really annoying, plus they shed everywhere all the time. Wolves must be a hundred times better at least, especially if we're talking about GoT dire wolves.

As for your question, I'm straight as an arrow and I'm secure enough in my sexuality to not give a shit what other people do between each other with mutual consent. I'm also busy enough and concerned enough with my own life not to stick my nose where it doesn't belong. My nose definitely does not belong in people's bedrooms. If it makes both people (or more) happy and it has no incidence on me or anyone else that isn't involved in these consensual activities, do what you want. Homosexuals aren't trying to recruit me, or grabbing my junk in public places, so why should I care? Marry and be merry, adopt and be fulfilled, child.

Likewise for gender identification, if you don't think you're a male or female, just don't be and take the requisite steps not to be. It's your body and your mental health, if you feel so much better as the opposite gender then you have my full support. I would even date a M to F transgender person as long as she is post-op (meaning no penis, breast surgery optional especially with hormone therapy) and looks like a female (meaning boobs, no moustache or beard, wide hips, things that are promoted with hormonal therapy). That she had technically been a man in the past doesn't concern me, after all, she isn't one now and I would be dating her now, not 15 years ago back when she had a penis, and that's all that matters to me as an heterosexual person.

But stuff like this or this goes too far for me though. I'm all ready to accept people moving between genders but I don't think there are like 25 genders like the second page seems to imply. There are two genders to me, masculine and feminine, because gender in my opinion is inherently tied to biology. The rest is cultural and gender roles =/= gender, and since I don't believe in natural gender roles (ie they are defined by culture and can change), I don't believe in social gender. To me it is just personality.

No. Penises are inherently disgusting to me. I just appreciate how other people can find them attractive (after all, if nobody did including girls, I'd be shit outta luck as the owner of one of these repugnant meat sticks).

It is safe to say the only dick I will be touching is my own. God knows I do plenty of that.
