Try out some forum games or roleplaying (or both), and of course have fun doing what you want from what you can see on here and also on the Discord and NationStates if anything is happening there .

I have a lot going on irl, and after everything what with the majority of my friends in Wintreath being unfunnies,  I'm declaring a leave of absence for an as of yet indeterminate time.

I might be a bit more inactive in the following weeks as I try to figure out what my next step in life should be.

I feel a bit lost in this community to be honest. I really want to be more active here, but for some reason I can't figure out what I want to do here. Even just saying hello makes me think twice...

no am not stepping down

I've accidentally vanished off the face of the planet (the planet being the world of Wintreath I suppose) and am retroactively announcing that . Turns out moving to a brand new city while starting work full-time for the first time eats up all your time and energy (for some reason I am still surprised by how much this has eaten into that even though I shouldn't be). Reading through everything I've missed these few weeks now.

Edit: I'm sorry to have missed Summersend, but glad that One Night Ultimate Werewolf turned out much better than the game I ran all those Summersends ago.

@Altrio: I'm sorry that you're feeling lost here...there's a lot of things to do and we go in a lot of different directions, but I get the feeling that isn't your issue. You've always come across as rather shy, and I don't know if it's just a Wintreath thing or if you're just a shy person in general, but if we can help you get to the bottom of it, let us know. At the very least, we should figure out why just saying hello makes you think twice.

@taulover: Welcome back! We missed you at Summersend, but we're glad to have you back home now.

For those who don’t wish to read, basically I’ve been very busy with gym and the play, it’s been hard to balance it out.

2. When will I be more active?

Unfortunately, sometime around the end of November. I’ll still be active, just not as much.

3. I’m going through a bit of a burnout.

Would rather post it here since I didn't want to make a new topic and this is closely related to my absence.

I'd like to resign from my position as Thane of Embassies. I don't think that I'm able to uphold the responsibilities it holds neither can I keep the promises I wanted to do. I've been getting busy with other things, and I thought that a inactive thane would be a burden. This isn't something I want any attention to, just a silent resignation.

I'm not resigning as ambassador, neither am I leaving the region. just wanted to clear things just in case.

@Altrio: Sorry, I don't do silent resignations.

I'm sorry to hear that you're resigning as Thane. You've done such a great job keeping our embassies in The South Pacific and The Rejected Realms active, and this is a position that could definitely use your touch. But everybody has been busy lately, and we're all dealing with the same struggles of having to cut back on things, so I do understand.

I hope you'll run for the position again in the future when you're not so busy.
