It's true though, and I'm incredibly sorry (and sorry for hijacking the post as well!)

I only say it because I miss you, and the others that have left us, too.

I need to take a few days away to recharge and stuff...the past few days have been stressful and tiring and just..horrible for me mentally...unfortunately while I normally try and clean house a bit I won't be able to do so this time..just...need a bit of time to relax and recharge...I do apologize.

So I hereby activate my Speaker PT

I'm sorry that you won't be with us anytime soon...I think that you're a bright star of this community, and not having you around will be felt by all of us. I've noticed that usually when people turn 18 and leave for college, they get more involved lives and we never see much of them again, but I hope that isn't the case with you...well, I hope you have a happy, involved life of course, but I hope in time you'll be able to balance it along with being here with us, too.

Don't think I'm gone yet, I'm still here just don't have my iPod until six and lose it again at ten on weekdays. So I'm still going to be here but very infrequently so expect maybe a random post in SWOYM or the dumping grounds. But not often. After these next five weeks my posting will probably be back at previous levels as the summer program I'm in ends.

College isn't here yet for me, sorry to give you the concerns. Still have senior year to go. There will be a week though where I won't even sign on as I'm without my iPod for the whole week due to a field trip.

So don't sign me away yet, I'm still around. And will be for many moons to come.

But after summer program comes school, and after school comes getting ready for college, and after getting ready comes colleges...I'm not wrong here! xD

I'm curious though, does someone literally come around and take your iPod away at 10 and give it back at 6 the next day? That does seem a bit...prisonlike.

We hand them in so that we can actually sleep for the whole night and not die from the work environment. So  we can go get it around six in the afternoon but we have to hand it in before ten thirty as we have to be in our rooms by that point.

The rules can be a little unforgiving but not without reason. More then anything it prepares us for a week where we live at a wildlife refuge and just don't get our tech at all.

Sorry I haven't been posting for the last few days. I'd like to say I have some excuse like "I was on vacation" or something like that, but I don't think "I was playing Overwatch" counts as a good excuse . I'll try to be more active now.

Out of curiosity, what are you taking a LoA from? You're still on Discord/IRC, and it's not like there's anything on the forum that should be taking up much of your time or causing you stress...

I'm doing it for general mental health and also IRL reasons, which I do not feel the need to go into at this time.

I'm primarily on discord because it's the only way I can talk to my girlfriend  and as to IRC I'm on there because I administrate a forum and that is primarily how we communicate. I'm just too lazy to just have me join that network/channel as I don't want to have to redo my settings.

I was at Hunt Hill for a week and was without all technology for a week so I was unable to respond to any and all mentions or votes. I wasn't ignoring you Chanku, I was offline for a week  so please don't beat me with salt. Thankee kindly.

Two weeks to go guys and I'm super excited because I get to build my gaming desktop afterwards.

Welcome back to being an adult and having technology and being able to use it if you want.

School is gearing back up and I will likely be online far less frequently.  Just in case anyone notices a large dip in activity.
