Nice! Just to mention Toni would have only revealed that the English woman was pregnant, or even involved with her to a few people in the family. Most likely the "father" and "Agatha".

Excuse me! I'm sorry, but I slave over a hot stove every morning, EARLY in the morning, to brighten up our miserable lives just a tad bit with some nice crepes. I even added sugar. You hear that? Sugar! Do you know how expensive powdered sugar is! Yet, what do I get for it, huh? Nothing! Not a single post from any of you ungrateful family members about how good these crepes are! I don't have to be here, you know! I could be off, singing, becoming famous. But no, I stay here! Why? Because family comes first! But, of course, you don't see that. You just sit along idly, forgetting these crepes even exist! Not just any crepes, my crepes, crepes made by my own hand to feed my own family because I love them. A pathetically short post from me, my apologies.

I really need to get my shit together. But instead of facing facts, I'll pretend it's only because I don't want to get too far ahead before everyone makes their first post

Finally! I hope nobody minds me setting the general date as "the latter portion of autumn", since I didn't see any time frame accept for after the stock market crash. Based on some research of weather in Detroit, this would be around early-mid November.

Unfortunately I'm still pretty novice at roleplay and don't know as much about this time-period as I do others, so I'll probably be doing a lot of research for each of my posts. Please feel free to let me know if I've said or done something that isn't historically accurate.

I'd like to apologize to everyone for the inactivity of this roleplay. The blame falls squarely on myself, as it was my brainchild and I have let it fall to the wayside.

I'd like to see the activity level increased, but I understand we're in the summer lull as well, so no worries.
