Ok all I actually read, is that we don't have enough people to do..."anything" inside here..I also see remarkable ideas suggested all the time, and rejected always as traditionally. Ok so we don't have enough people to do anything...How many ppl does a newspaper really needs?

Ok let's say that I accept this kind of negativity, which is unacceptable with 550+ nations on Wintreath..Make active people, give them a reason to be active...(Do you really want me to show how to make them active?) -__-
 How do you know that we don't have enough people to do stuff, when you have not taken in consideration to ask them? *I don't remember to have been asked....like eveeeeeer*

Guys, you want to hear fancy and nice words?...Sorry but there are not any...All I do hear is that we are unique region...REALLYYYY? What makes us unique? our sense of community? Our pathetic jokes about D**ks? or our crazy RPes...that a few people participate only, because they are not interesting at all??
No, we don't have a community here, since we remove the right of our citizens to be heared and accepted, and we don't have the sense of community when we joke around on peoples hopes and dreams.
How can we be a unique region, when we are fighting bureocracy here, but we have it on our agenda.

And don't dare, to tell me our famous RPes...Cause it's just blatant! Who even plays those things...we started so many games, and none of those continued. Although I have been rp-ing in many RPG and MMO's, for many years...I don't have the energy to waste on these..(But perhaps it is just me) But I haven't seen you guys either active!

So, the question is...Will you make changes by improving the sense of team work, or individuality will sprung inside here... *and please don't deny it, we all see it..*

Ok, before I deal with any issue of actual substance in here, I will rehash the newspaper saga for you in hopes that you will actually read it this time and stop spreading lies and misinformation about it and making yourself look like a fool in the process.

Nobody has ever, ever, ever rejected anyone's request to do a private newspaper. Stark or anyone else could make a topic and do their own paper now or anytime they like, and that would be awesome. In fact, Wuufu already puts out an awesome periodic paper on here and has never had a problem doing so, so tell me more about how the newspaper idea was somehow rejected. Oh wait, it wasn't. So since we have conclusively proven that approval isn't even needed to do a paper, why not go and do it and be awesome at it instead of going around spreading lies about how people can't?

As for the "remarkable" ideas that actually were rejected, are you referring to the idea that we we should abandon doing our own website, or the idea that we should host movies and distribute them illegally? Please, go and find any instance where an idea was rejected, and I will once again explain why it was, and I will then explain why the right to expression and speech isn't the right to demand changes to the website or forum on a whim. Is that satisfactory? Will you stop spreading misinformation about this now? Will you please stop being a bad egg??? ;-;

Speaking as a NS cosmopolitan I have to say a few of the concerns brought up about "activity" are hogwash. If you think any region has a significant amount more content and activity you are severely wrong. The NS Gameplay forum is rive with activity, but that is sort of to be expected. Having 25-35 active people a day on the forums is pretty good (especially since they aren't always the same people).
 
Having said that...I will say our success with recruitment is not equal to our success with retention on the forums.
It is hard to please everyone. If you hang around for a long time you become "a good ol' boy" and you can not do much about that. I would say we are overly friendly with new folks, I give them a "hi. " for instance, and I don't see the problem with sticking to our roots. Perhaps things could be toned down a bit, but I disagree with such censorship. Perhaps people are more open here because they are allowed to be? I personally have to say I would be much more closed off to the LGBTQ community without the friends I've made here.

I believe some valid points have been made by all!
Some points were obviously ill-worded and came off a bit ranty more than expressive, but that is fine...who are we to judge how you deal?
In playing Nationstates for close to a decade I have to say Wintreath is quite unique and has a real "homey" feel.
This is legitimately a region like no other I have ever experienced...and I have experienced a lot.

Wintreath is great for quite a few people, and is possibly not the right region for everyone. I don't see that as a problem really.
When you try to cut things to fit everyone's mold you are left with no original fabric. As a community it is our job to see the continuity of Wintreath, because it really is for all of us.

Statement Regarding Regional Content

I'm asking that any further discussion of the content of our region take place in that topic. While it is a legit discussion, it's not really related to improving our activities, events, and opportunities for members of the region. I'll make another post on this topic shortly.
