  • I think it's important to debate these policies before the election.

Alt - they'd remain in place until they resigned.

  • Polaris, it should be a debate area. I want to know who I'm voting for. Or not voting for.

<@Vidarr> I hold onto the constant of change
    <+IH> How delightfully paradoxical.

<@IH> Omega also suits you, it’s the symbol for electrical resistance.
    <@Delta> Are you saying I'm slow? :P

  • There was actual political discussion in there....
Also, I don't see Charax complaining and this is his thread...
So let him respond as he wishes.

  • Yes I saw a few political discussion in those ones, but I hardly can remember any, after all those shamefull words on a campaigning page....
Also perhaps Charax is not complaning, but I, as a citizen, whose vote is asked to be casted, I COMPLAIN...
I am here to read a campaign plan, and be convinced whether I will vote or not this specific candidate.

And all those nicely formed cursing dialogs, makes me sick....is this really an example we want to give to our new citizens of our region....Pretty sure it is not!

  • If you're expecting an all out serious campaign, I'm sorry to disappoint. Charax is my friend, and I know he's experienced and he has my vote, because he has convinced me that he knows what he's doing.

Also, I think this is a pretty good introduction to new citizens. We know what we're doing, but we're not uptight and we joke around and know how to have fun while working. In addition, the other campaigns are being 'nice and serious', so if you want, go look at those.

Complain all you want, it doesn't change the fact that my posts are there, and that they still discussed stuff while joking around. If you want to file an official complaint to have my posts removed, go ahead, tell me how that goes for you. If not, just look away. You don't have to look at these posts, hell, tell everyone to ignore this thread completely if you're so insulted.

Wow too mature by your side...NICE  ;)  :D

So since Charax has your vote, why are you still commenting...its obvious that your going to cast a YES vote for him anyway :P ....why do you make it such a fuss...Oh yeah I know ;) ...Cause simply you can't help it...

You call this...a serious work...really? This is the example you want to give to the new citizens here? ...That we curse, despite the fact that these elections are going to change the shape of our regions future...? pitty...soooo pittty xD

  • First off, these are imaginary elections.
Second, I don't imagine anyone in that is currently running incapable of making good decisions on the future of the region.
Thirdly, I'm still commenting on here because this is where our discussion is taking place.
    Fourth, your swearing in
And fucked up comments are fucking up our elections one more fucking time!

isn't exactly "helpful to our new citizens either" as you put it.
Fifth, I was commenting on Charax's post in both a joking and serious manner, and then I decided I would vote for him once he made his FoIA point make sense, which I am now confident it might work.
Sixth, I don't like your attitude, it reminds me too much of the people that act superior while doing nothing for anyone. I am at least asking questions. I am satisfied with Charax's answers, and I will now ask Weissreich and Stark to expand on their points. You have done nothing except attack the way in which I ask questions. The whole point of these threads is to interview the candidates so we know who's going to "shape the future of our region".
And, to repeat my above point, I trust almost everyone in this region, except a few people, to be capable and logical.

  • The Underhusen is there to create laws that are not covered by any of the ministries, like justice. I think the greatest challenge imposing itself on Wintreath right now is the lack of our legal code. What do you plan on doing about that?

  • If you're really expecting me to take this seriously you're sadly mistaken. You can perform well while having fun, if it weren't fun we wouldn't play the game. I think I have a track record of performing well in this region, and the silliness of one thread shouldn't count against me.

If you want this to be a serious thread though, why not question me on my policies? :)

  • 1. What do you feel is the most important legislative goal to be accomplished during the coming term?

    2. What do you feel should be the nature of the relationship between the executive and legislative branches of government? Do you believe the current relationship between the two is appropriately balanced or out of balance, and why?

    3. Name one thing that's wrong with one of our laws (including the Fundamental Laws) and how you would fix it.

    4. Do you see treaties as a means to develop a new relationship with a region, a means to make official an already solid relationship, some combination of these, or something else entirely? Please be as detailed as possible.

    5. Do you believe that members of the Riksråd should be part of the Underhusen? Why or why not?

1 - I believe the abolition of the fixed term will be the most resounding success of the next Storting should it pass, and for me personally helping that to come tip fruition is my key goal.

2 - To keep this short, I'll just say I support the status quo. But then I would, I helped create it.

3 - Refer to point one. Also, I think the procedure of the house is far too bureaucratic and cumbersome. Whilst not technically legislation, I would hope to attend it to make it more flexible and streamlined.

4 - It all depends on circumstance. Milograd was a great friend to myself and Wintermoot when the region was founded, and our treaty solidified ground that was already common between us. In post-war circumstances, the opposite may be true. Ultimately, I see treaties as a matter for the Department of Foreign Affairs, however.

5 - In theory, no. I like the separation of powers. But in practicality, sometimes overlap is necessary. It should be avoided where possible though.

    agree++ to the above.

Harry, calm your tits.  Yes, I just said that.  You're overreacting.  They are joking while he's also addressing questions about his platform.  It's ok to joke in your campaign thread.  He's not running for a RL MP position.  This is a game, people are having fun.  Please relax and stop overreacting.
