I mean I don't know... Their problem is not the concept but the execution... If they had better containment operations or even did something as simple as a kill collar on the animals or maybe even a toxin release thing in the inside of their mouth they could do fabulously...

Which means they didn't  think of contingency  measures.  lol

Darth Maul was definitely the better Sith Lord.

No he wasn't.  In terms of skill, Vader was more experienced.  Maul was pwned more than once by Obi-Wan and then by his former master after Sidious/Palpatine killed his brother.

Very good character, and I like his transformation and what he had to do, and I like how his story continues on in The Old Republic timeframe. 

He wavered between following Sith teachings and going for a quest of power.  I would theorise that he would be the last great Sith Lord who followed the Sith teachings moreso than just go hungry with power.  It's interesting how people disregarded Darth Bane's rules for quite some time

I was serious in that post. I want to watch it, just never found the time to download the films.

Or just buy them.  Watch OT first, then PT.  Optional to watch Special Edition OT.

Just beware that you could end up hating the prequel trilogy.
