So, who's playing it? Are you using a custom character or one of the origins? What's your impression of the game so far?

Will more than likely be playing it when it hits PS5 in September, it looks really awesome.  And the praise it's been getting from critics and players alike, including folks I know who have it on PC and are usually critical of games has me super intrigued.

I'm about 65 hours in and I've just hit Act 3. I'm trying a semi-completionist run or trying to do as much as I feasibly can that would work for my character - cleric of Mystra, originally light domain but respec'd to life domain because my party needed a healer.

I will play it when I have a computer that can play it, and it's under $20. So three or four years from now. xD

It truly is an awesome game. Been playing since early access. 

Currently running a playthrough as a ranger, Beastmaster specialty. Trying as much as I can to do the good guy playthrough. My problem is that I end up thinking of something I would have rather done and starting over again and deleting my old saves.(I have no idea why I do that.) I do wish that Dragonborn was a little more reactive though. They're supposed to be a rare and strange species in Faerun and  no one really seems to react to it that much.

I've done 2 playthroughs. First one was as a fighter because I'm vanilla and boring like that, second one as a druid. It truly is the best fantasy RPG I've played since Dragon Age: Origins. Hell, it's more of a successor than DA2 and Inquisition ever were.

I feel like it's a common debate among players and DMs whether or not to include fantasy racism in D&D games. Honestly I can go either way but it really depends on what gets different people excited about roleplaying.

Picked it up, playing through, and love it.  I do have to say that the dice rolling mechanic can be taken advantage of when it comes to the dialogue portions...and I kinda love that.  You can save the game anytime, even during a portion of dialogue happening...and it'll load right on that exact moment.  Afraid of choosing the wrong option?  Load the game right at making that choice, and experiment.  Dice roll didn't go how you wanted it?  Load the game right at that dialogue choice and reroll until you get the choice you want.  I just love how broken that feels, because if I roll like a 1 or 2 on a 10 minimum choice, I can always keep rerolling to get what I want...without having to backtrack X amount to get to that point like most save types do.
