We've been long overdue for a forum reorg! So tonight the Joint Moderation Group got together and went through the forums one by one, with an eye toward making the forums easier to understand for new people.

• Gatekeep's Post has been completely revamped. It's now a hub for introductions and AMAs, with subforums for applications and newbie information (which will be filled soon)
• The Announcements forum has been moved to the Administration area. While it was important to have announcements at the top for a long time, most people are informed about these announcements on Discord or through The Frosty Bugle nowadays.
• The Culture and Discussion areas were condensed, with many less active forums being made into sub-forums.
• The birthday box on the right side of the forums was removed. It mostly displayed inactive people, and for those who are active the Hearthkeepers do a great job of conveying birthday wishes.
• The Discussion area was moved toward the bottom of the forums. Our thinking is that as gaming community, people should see see things like games and roleplays first thing when they browse the forums.

We hope these changes make for a fresh forum experience that's logical and unencumbered with inactive forums.

The Frosty Bugle is under this forum though? Meaning forum goers still get their announcements pushed down to the bottom even if they don't get it from posts here.

I think even most forum-goers use the Recent topics page, and they would see announcements as they're posted. Otherwise, I'm not sure what you mean.
