Charax Romanov (awarded 8 May 2014)
1. Title
1.1 This shall be titled the Charax Romanov Act
2. Paragon Status
2.1 The Ex-Crown Prince and Jarl of Foreign Affairs Charax Romanov shall be recognized as a Paragon of Wintreath.
3. Commendation
3.1 Charax shall receive the Commendation of Wintreath for the following:
3.1.1 Running the Foreign Affairs Department
3.1.2 Being a major Contributor to the Fundamental Laws
3.1.3 Being the first Crown Prince of Wintreath
Weissreich (awarded 6 July 2014)
Title
1. This act shall be cited as The Weissriech Commendation Act.
Legislation
2. Noting the achievements of Weissreich, which include (but are not limited to):
Authoring the Judicial Offices Act
Authoring the Code of Criminal Laws
Acting as Speaker pro tempore of the Underhusen for two terms
Assisting in the development of our Regional Roleplay
Developing a regional map for Roleplay purposes
3. The Storting hereby grants Weissreich the Wintreath Commendation.
Pengu (awarded 25 February 2016)
Title
1. This act shall be cited as the Pengu Commendation Act.
Recognition
2. Wintreath notes the numerous achievements of Pengu:
(a) Establishing engaging entertainment such as the Lusty Jarl comedy news publication,
(b) Being a driving force for the community with his work on Werewolf,
(c) Serving outstandingly at the post of Jarl of Culture,
(d) Contributing to the Storting repeatedly, specifically as Speaker of the Underhusen and Chairman of the Overhusen.
3. Wintreath recognises that:
(a) Pengu's efforts have excelled at tying the region's Citizens together in ways no others have previously done, and that
(b) The above list is not fully inclusive of Pengu's accomplishments, and
4. Pengu is hereby awarded the Wintreath Commendation.
Colberius X (awarded 2 November 2017)
Title
1. This bill shall be cited as the Colberius X Commendation Act.
Recognition
2. Wintreath notes the numerous achievements of Colberius X, including:
(a) Being the first Hyperian to join Wintreath, thus being among the original Hyperians that made the great friendship and cooperation between the regions of New Hyperion and Wintreath possible,
(b) Fostering the close Wintrean-Hyperian relationship as Ambassador from Aura Hyperia and New Hyperion, and later as High Commissioner following vassalization,
(c) His long and outstanding service on the Overhusen,
(d) Founding the largest and one of the oldest extant familial houses, the Noble House of Valeria.
3. The Storting hereby awards Colberius X the Commendation of Wintreath.
Reon (awarded 25 August 2018)
Title
1. This bill shall be cited as the Reon Commendation Act.
Recognition
2. Wintreath notes the numerous achievements of Reon, including:
(a) Contributing to both the Underhusen and Overhusen repeatedly, working on laws such as the Monarch-Underhusen Rights Removal Amendment Act,
(b) Serving as World Assembly Delegate, as well as Jarl of WA Affairs, for almost three years, representing the Region on the international stage admirably and keeping the population informed on WA news,
(c) Fostering the region's culture as Thane of Culture, encouraging expansion of and participation in the Dumping Grounds, a foremost attraction to Wintreath,
(d) Outstanding service to the region both as a member of government, a legislator and as a citizen,
(e) Work as one of the first members of the Wintreath Minecraft Server building the community there,
3. Also noting that Reon's foremost contributions to Wintreath were as a pleasant, affable, friendly and conscientious member of the Wintreath Community that made the community as a whole better from his presence.
4. The Storting hereby awards Reon the Commendation of Wintreath.
Chanku (awarded 28 June 2019)
Title
1) This act shall be cited as the Chanku Recognitions Act.
Recognitions
2) The Storting recognizes that Chanku was the first Citizen to make Wintreath her original home, and that she has since been a prominent member of Wintreath's forum and IRC/Discord community, where she has contributed to Wintreath's special and freewheeling culture.
a) Specifically, Chanku has expanded Wintrean culture through the creation of an unofficial Minecraft Tekkit server which has become very popular with the Wintrean community.
3) The Storting recognizes that Chanku has been an instrumental driver of Wintrean parliamentary and legal culture, particularly through her unparalleled belief in and devotion to the Underhusen as an institution, through such accomplishments as:
a) Having ran as a candidate for Underhusen in every election since the Storting was established, currently a span lasting over five years and growing.
b) Having been elected to 16 Underhusen sessions, where the Underhusen placed its faith in her by selecting her as its Speaker for 8 of those sessions and its Speaker Pro Tempore for another 4 of those sessions.
c) Having represented the Monarchy in parliamentary matters for an additional session as Chairperson of the Overhusen.
d) Having authored, co-authored, and influenced a number of acts that have passed into law, including the Citizenship and Demonym Act, the Code of Criminal Laws, the Default Seats of the Underhusen Act, and the Procedural Rules Speaker and Officers Amendment.
e) Having tested the region's legal system by bringing its first lawsuit.
4) The Storting recognizes that Chanku has also served in many other government roles, including Jarl of Foreign Affairs and Regional Gameplay Advisor. Additionally, she was involved in our regional military, the Hvitt Riddiral, through most of its entire existance, from being a trainee in its first operations to serving as Jarl of Defense for over a year.
a) In particular, as Jarl of Foreign Affairs, Chanku created the first formal Ministry mandate in Wintreath's history, which reorganized the ministry and in part led to a revival of the ministry and in foreign affairs unseen since the period right after the region was founded.
5) The Storting recognizes Chanku as a stalwart defender of the region, its community, its principles, and its Monarch in cases where it has been the target of untruths and slander, particularly during:
a) The events of July 2015, when several prominent Citizens announced their intent to overthrow the Monarchy. Her defense led her to being inappropriately banned by one of the Citizens involved who was also a chat op.
b) The events of March 2018, when The Versutian Federation closed relations with Wintreath for reasons based on incorrect facts collected through poor research on their part. Her actions, along with those of others, resulted in a restoration of relations.
c) The events of May-July 2018 during the Lazarus Constitutional Convention, where she often sacrificed her own personal standing among the powers that be in that region in fighting untruths leveled against the region and its Monarch. Her actions in part inspired a renewed regional focus on foreign affairs, which included her own appointment as Regional Gameplay Advisor and later her second appointment as Jarl of Foreign Affairs.
Commendation
6) Recognizing these feats as fact, the Storting hereby awards Chanku the Commendation of Wintreath.
7) Recognizing the lengths Chanku has gone to in order to defend the region and its honour, the Storting additionally grants her the honour title of "Champion of the Just".
HannahB (awarded 22 October 2019)
Title
1.This act shall be cited as the HannahB Commendation Act.
Recognition
2. The region of Wintreath notes and recognizes the various accomplishments and contributions to Wintreath by HannahB, including but not limited to:
a) Creating the Wintreath Discord server, a vibrant and core part of the community, and allowing it to be nationalized,
b) Service to the community as Operator on said Discord server,
c) Creating and publishing the Frozen Realm Record, Wintreath's first regular news update, during her tenure as the Jarl Of Information,
d) Meritorious service in the Underhusen during some of the foundational terms of the institution as well as serving as Speaker of the Underhusen during the 17th term,
e) Distinguished service as the Second Delegate of Wintreath, showing the best qualities of Wintreath to the NationStates community at large,
f) Longstanding and undeniable contributions to the community as a whole through her pleasant, considerate and kind presence, creating a friendly and affable mood in the community, and for being a hardworking and unwavering advocate for the region.
3. Recognizing these extraordinary contributions to the community, the Storting hereby grants HannahB the title of "Arbiter Of Peace".
4. The Storting hereby awards HannahB the Commendation Of Wintreath.
Gerrick (awarded 27 June 2020)
Title
1. This act shall be cited as the Gerrick Commendation Act.
Recognition
2. The region of Wintreath recognizes the accomplishments and contributions to Wintreath by Gerrick, including but not limited to:
a) Significant contributions to the region as Jarl of Culture for nearly three years,
b) Significant recruitment,
c) The creation and hosting of the Arena and Diplomacy games,
d) Significant contributions to The Monarch's Game Bag and recruitment contests,
e) Significant contributions to the yearly Summersend Festivals,
f) Significant monetary contributions in support of Wintreath,
g) Serving as a Skrifa to the Underhusen and as an Ambassador to an allied region,
h) Contributions to official Wintreath publications, including the creation of the regular Orendi column, "The Culture Review,"
i) Original creation, graphic design, and maintenance of the badge system.
3. The Storting hereby awards Gerrick the Commendation of Wintreath.
taulover (awarded 24 September 2020)
Title
1. This act shall be cited as the Taulover Commendation Act.
Recognition
2. The region of Wintreath recognizes the accomplishments, contributions, and services to Wintreath by taulover, included but not limited to:
a) Significant contributions to the Underhusen as Skrifa for seven terms, including 4 terms as Speaker and Speaker pro-tempore, and their current position as Librarian of the Underhusen,
b) Significant contributions to Wintreath's reputation abroad as ambassador to several regions such as Balder and INWU who have become close allies,
c) Contributions to Wintreath's Foreign Affairs department as Thane of Embassy Dispatches/Foreign Affairs & as a Thane of Integration,
d) Contributions to Wintreath's official publications such as the publishing and editing the publications, known as the Orendi, for over 2 years and also additional writing of the regional events and conducting several citizen interviews in the Orendi,
e) Contributions to the success of the yearly summer festival, Summersend, by promoting it and hosting several activities and games in aforementioned festival,
f) Significant contributions to roleplay and gaming in Wintreath by serving as hosts to a numerous amount of regional games, such as the hosting of one of the most active editions of the popular forum games Werewolf/Mafia and Arena,
g) His role in the founding of the region of New Hyperion and fostering of Wintreath's close connection to the region.
3. The Storting hereby awards taulover the Commendation of Wintreath.
BraveSirRobin (awarded 24 September 2020)
Title
1. This act shall be cited as the BraveSirRobin Commendation Act.
Recognition
2. The region of Wintreath recognizes the accomplishments, contributions, and services to Wintreath by BraveSirRobin, included but not limited to:
a) Significant contributions as the Third Delegate of Wintreath (and second longest serving delegate) for almost 3 years,
b) Contributions to building the reputation of Wintreath abroad as the Thane of Ambassadors and the development of several ambassador programs,
c) Serving as a Skrifa of the Underhusen, Speaker, and Speaker pro-tempore of the Underhusen for many terms,
d) Significant contributions to the success and the promotion of the yearly summer festival, Summersend, such as the hosting of several regional activities like the "Wintreath Skyscraper,"
e) Serving as an ambassador to several regions that have become our closest allies, such as the North Pacific and Europeia,
f) Significant contributions to Roleplay and Gaming in the region such as the creation of the Deep Space Wintreath game, and his service as RP Guild Councillor for over 3 years,
g) Contributions to official Wintreath publications such as the Orendi, and the spreading of said publication to several allied regions,
h) Significant contributions to the creation, activity, and early in-game infrastructure of Wintreath's official Minecraft server, such as in "Spawn City," and the "ROBIN Corp,"
i) Significant contributions to Wintreath's election system with the establishment of the Robin Steak Fry, which later evolved to the Monarch's Ice Cream Social,
j) Contributions as an early promoter of Potatoism and the Potatoe.
3. The Storting hereby awards BraveSirRobin the Commendation of Wintreath.
Dawsinian (awarded 24 September 2020)
Title
1. This act shall be cited as the Dawsinian Commendation Act
Recognition
2. The region of Wintreath recognizes the accomplishments, contributions, and services to Wintreath by Dawsinian, included but not limited to:
a) Joining Wintreath as one of its first citizens,
b) Contributions to the first Constitutional Convention of Wintreath including the establishing and proposal of several Fundamental Constitutional laws,
c) Significant contributions to Wintreath as a forum administrator and an early IRC operator, including appointing several key members of the Wintreath operators team who still serve to date,
d) Significant contributions to the Underhusen by being a Skrifa for several terms including 4 terms as Speaker and Speaker pro tempore of the Underhusen,
e) Significant contributions to the Overhusen by being Chairman of the Overhusen for several terms,
f) Early and significant service to the Wintrean military, including as Jarl of Defense and Acting Field Marshal of Wintreath,
g) Significant contributions to Wintreath's executive government as the Thane of Integration for several terms.
3. The honorary title of "First Scribe" is hereby bestowed on Dawsinian in recognition of his exceptional legislative service to Wintreath.
4. The Storting hereby awards Dawsinian the Commendation of Wintreath.
trader (awarded 25 November 2020)
Title
1. This act shall be cited as the Trader Commendation Act.
Recognition
2. The region of Wintreath recognizes the accomplishments, contributions, and services to Wintreath by our Crown Prince, trader, included but not limited to:
a) His service as a member of the Royal Family and the Crown Prince of Wintreath,
b) Significant contributions to Wintreath as a Skrifa of the Underhusen for two terms and as Speaker of the 19th Underhusen,
c) Contributions to Wintreath as a longtime Peer of the Overhusen,
d) Service to Wintreath as a member of the operator's team and the head operator/moderator on Discord, where he rewrote the operator code of conduct and reformed many of the rules and guidelines to ensure a more inclusive and safe community,
e) Service as a leader during the troubling times of February, June, and July of 2020, where he worked in the healing of our community and also allowed us to overcome our differences,
f) Significant contributions to Wintreath's official Minecraft server, including continuous maintenance, updating, and promotion of the server.
3. The Storting bestows on trader the title "Lord of Minecraft."
4. The Storting hereby awards trader the Commendation of Wintreath.
Stigya (awarded 3 August 2022)
Title
1. This act shall be cited as the Stigya Commendation Act.
Recognition
2. The region of Wintreath recognizes the accomplishments, contributions, and services to Wintreath by Stigya, included but not limited to:
a) Creating the long-standing Wintreath Allied Regional Protective Pact (WARPP) on September 13th, 2020, the first individual-led organization in Wintreath's recent history that provided both an in-character outlet for roleplaying within a largely non-roleplay region (at the time) and an out-of-character outlet for community involvement, purpose, and belonging,
b) Using the aforementioned organization to improve Wintreath in multi-factorial methods, including:
i) Revitalizing the roleplay community with various organizationally lead roleplays, such as The Trashkanistan Wars, greatly increasing Regional Message Board (RMB) activity with both roleplay posts and conversation concerning the roleplay.
ii) Selecting and retaining quality members of the Wintreath community to become citizens and become involved in greater Wintreath, such as Svipjoth and The Greenlandic North in their positions of thaneship.
c) Participating in the arts of Wintreath by authoring his book concerning Emperor Roxas and his legacy,
d) Serving in exemplary fashion as both Thane of Regional Affairs and Jarl of Regional Affairs, possessing an attention to detail and fast response in Wintreath's RMB alongside working 60 hour work weeks.
3. The Landsraad hereby awards Stigya the Commendation of Wintreath.
