Apparently ME:A has been losing staff left and right, from writers and now their senior editor.  People are beginning to worry that the new Mass Effect will be even more horrendous than 3 (which I haven't played yet, but it gets a lot of flack for the ending), and are starting to worry about Bioware's future.

I'm also a bit worried as well.  When a company is continuously losing staff members, to me either that says that EA is putting far too much pressure or demanding too much on Bioware, or that they're digging their claws too deep into how much input they're putting into the game.

Either way, it does explain ME's delay to 2017, although it makes me worry if it's going to go the Fable Legends/Lionhead route...which I'm hoping it doesn't.

My understanding is that these writers were on contract and that their work is done, so they're now onto other projects, and the technical work is now what needs to be done: programming, etc.

Sad but true, and yet I don't want to give up hope.
