Statistics for the Month that Was
    June 2022

As usual, with a Werewolf game came a rise in forum activity. However, the story of the month isn't just in Werewolf, which only made up just over half of forum posts for the month. The RP Guild continues to go strong with 71 RP posts made in July (compared to 58 in June). There was a lot of posts around the Werewolf elections, Pride month events pushed the Pride forum to its best month in years, and in fact all of the discussion forums broke double-digits this month for the first time since we currently have records (back to January 2020). This shows that our strength on the forums isn't just Werewolf as it's been in past years, but with a wide breadth of discussions and activities.

Also just wanted to point out that 3 people made exactly 63 posts in June. I don't think I've ever seen a three-way tie for such a high number of posts before!

On the surface, we saw some growth on Discord in June, but the truth is even better than that. We had fewer bot posts due to reduced CAH and Minecraft activity, meaning that human posts more than made up the difference. In fact, we had the highest number of human posts in a month since February 2021, speaking to the continued recovery and growth of the community. Whether this trend will continue into July is hard to say. There are indications that we're entering the NationStates summer lull. While it may not impact us as badly as it has in past years due to all the other things we do now, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a slight dip from these numbers in July.

Still, this is a further sign that our community is going strong, and has largely recovered from the Entropy Era of 2020-21.

    NationStates RMB: 1626
    From May 2022: -583 (-26.4%) | From June 2021: +1304 (+405.0%) | Breakdown: View Here

Speaking of the NationStates summer lull, nowhere would one be felt more strongly than on the NationStates RMB, and that's what the stats suggest is happening. Activity fell by a decent bit in June, in line with the trends in past years. If the trend continues, activity will further decline in July and August before picking up in September. However, things are still in much better shape here than they were last year, with 4 times the number of posts as there were last June. The RMB may be a bit slower, but it still seems to be fundamentally strong.

    Median Citizen Age: 23.5
    From March 2022: -0.5 | From April 2021: -0.5 | Breakdown: View Here

With some changes in Citizenship, the median age fell very slightly to 23.5. However, this number has been overall very stable in the past year, suggesting that as members age we're getting enough new younger members to keep this stat hovering around 24.
