1) Why are you running for this position?

We all make choices in life, but in the end our choices make us.

2) What do you aim to accomplish as thane? As part of this, you must include at least one thing that you promise to do beyond the minimum listed duties of the position during your term. It should be measurable, so that it's black and white whether you fulfilled this mandate at the end of the term if you are elected.

My biggest goal besides the continuing running of the game nights in Wintreath would be the expansion of gaming content on this forum. I think that Michi doing his reviews has inspired me to build a gaming section with more content like that and hopefully more engagement maybe. Maybe I'll create a forum version of a gaming magazine :p

2a) If you are an incumbent running for re-election, did you fulfill your mandate from the last election? If not, why didn't you?

3) What qualifications or experience do you have in the area that you are running in?

The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world. 

In government my experience is limited but in life my experience is great. I've ran gaming forums, and way to many clans.

4) How do you plan to have the time to fulfill the duties of the position until the next election?

It's a funny thing, ambition. It can take one to sublime heights or harrowing depths. And sometimes they are one and the same.

My schedule is tight but I will dedicate myself to service in between my IRL obligations

5) Are you currently a part of any other NationStates regional or organizational government? If so, please include those regions and positions.

And now let me give you a speech my fellow Wintreans.

I stand before you thinking I do not stand a chance against Mars but know that I will try my hardest. I stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls, and ask the ghosts if honor matters. The silence is your answer. 

Between me and Mars the question may be who deserves it more. Wanting something does not give you the right to have it. I believe I want it more... but I do not believe myself most deserving and I applaud my competitor for the great service they have done. 

Some trees flourish, others die. Some cattle grow strong, others are taken by wolves. Some men are born rich enough and dumb enough to enjoy their lives. Ain't nothing fair. We all certainly know that. Is it fair to run against the best who's ever done it? Probably not. But I'm here because I just might be crazy enough to do it. If our lives are already written, it would take a courageous man to change the script.

It's easy to forget what a sin is in the middle of a battlefield. But I tell you here and now I will not forget. I will stand here and shake my opponents hand win or lose because they deserve the respect they've earned. I thought you were my greatest enemy, when all along you were my best friend.
