Dawsinian Named Acting Jarl of Regional Affairs

With @Doc taking an extended leave of absence, @Dawsinian was named Acting Jarl to oversee the NationStates region page and regional message board while he was gone. When Doc returns, Daws will remain on the Cabinet as Jarl Without Portfolio to offer his extensive skills and experience to any ministry that needs it. Congratulations to him on his return to the Cabinet!

Mage Wars Signups Open!

Mage Wars is a forum game that's a lot like the board game Battleship. Each player has a tower on a map grid, and each turn players strike it sections of the grid to try to find and destroy their opponents. They also are able to use mage-y artifacts and abilities along the way, and the last player standing wins! Check the link for more information and to sign up.

Wintreath in Statistics June Edition Released

As predicted, activity slowed even more in June with the Discord at near-record lows. However there were some bright spots: an active Cabinet using its channel, the successful return of #the-nerdatorium, and the Arena game happening on the forums. This edition also includes a new daily breakdown of Discord posts that showed weekends as the most active time on there.

Forest Interregional Writing Contest

Our friends in Forest are holding a writing contest for people in their region and regions they have an embassy with (that's us!). The theme of the contest is anthropocene, you may write it out as poetry, drama, or prose, and the deadline is August 15th. 1) The WARPP/Ursian coalition is making steady progress in mainland Ursia and should be at the Capitol of Ursus Majoro in the next month.
2) Svipjoth is the newest and 11th nation to join WARPP.
3) Relations between The Stigyan Triumvirate and Svipjoth have been further cemented by the betrothal of Stigyan Prince Cypress Amory and Svipish Princess Rognhildr Pjotursdottir.
4) WARPP logistics and comminications have increased region wide after the implementation of the Continental Communication Newtork (Aka the WARPP discord server.)
