Things that Swim is Our Avatar of the Month!

July's Avatar of the Month is Things that Swim, which was nominated by @Imaginative Kane, and everyone is encouraged to switch their forum avatar to something that fits that theme! Voting was very light, I think in part because this publication is late this week (a link to the vote would have been included if it'd been on time). For that, I apologize, but it's great to have a new avatar theme regardless.

Wintreath's Finest Named!

Similarly, turnout was low for the Wintreath's Finest vote for the same reasons, but two winners were named due to a tie. @taulover won for the dedication and innovation he brought to his Arena game, which is currently running. @Wuufu won for the improvements he made to the Cards Against Humanity Discord game that plays through the bot he created for Wintreath, Zaphyr. Congrats to you both!

Safe Haven: Gay Life in the 1950s Cherry Grove

The New York Historical Society is opening an exhibit exhibit on Cherry Grove, a secluded beach where the gay and lesbian community could openly be themselves back in the 1940s and 50s. Included is a link to their website, which has some of the pictures taken at the time that will be included.
