A new way to explore the radio stations around the world! When you open the site, it hones into an online station near you, but you can use the map in the background to literally see where stations are based at and switch to them. What do they listen to in New York, or Toronto, or Thayer, Missouri for that matter? You can search for stations by city or country, or save them to favorites, all for free and without having to even sign up or log in.

Online radio has been a thing for decades now, but this is the first time I've seen stations grouped by location on a map. It's  enough that I thought it was worth sharing.

Huh, the selection of radio stations is strange. When I go to Austin, TX, it's missing a lot but also has some I've never heard of before... It seems like it only listener-funded radio stations or free internet stations, but that does makes sense. Regardless, it's very cool to so easily listen to stations all over the world. Funny how much is in English no matter where you are.

@Gerrick: I think it's just free stations that have been submitted. I saw there was a form to submit new stations to the site, but either way it's a cool new take on exploring the stations. And yeah, I think the internet has pretty much cemented English as a universal language...lucky for us Americans that don't usually learn a second language.
