Love the OP update.

Keep in mind that the future games can be found in the Upcoming Hosts of Werewolf thread.  Next one is Werewolf 24: Fench Vanilla (tm) hosted by Funnier.

I played a game of Blood on the Clocktower last night over VC with family and friends. In many ways it plays like a bastard game of Werewolf - there are many negation powers (some of which are permanent) which lead to the host lying to information roles, many choices are left up to the host's discretion, everyone gets a role, roles and alignments can change, game starts at night, etc.

To me, the most interesting innovations compared to Werewolf are that players are completely free to enter into private conversation with other players (and in fact much if not most of the discussion is expected to take place this way), and dead players continue to play the game but lose their powers and can only vote once for the rest of the game. I think it would be very interesting to see how these two mechanics would translate over into a forum Werewolf format.
