Hi, I just want to run this by y'all!

I'm Lucas Stewart, Prime Minister of United Kingdom, and it's by virtue of that position that I have this account on your lovely forums! However, HM Government of United Kingdom is working on a transition in our ambassador structure in which we'll simply have an account called "United Kingdom Ambassador" associated with a Google account held in trust by HM Government. That is, it's not associated with any particular person, just whoever is running the government.

I know that it's typically a problem to sign up for an account that has the same IP address as an existing account, but of course that's exactly what would happen if I sign up as United Kingdom Ambassador, since I already have this account. So my question is this: would it be possible for us to seek special permission for the United Kingdom Ambassador account? Or could I simply transition this account from my personal one to the UKA account? Or, of course, my personal account could be deleted entirely to pave the way for United Kingdom Ambassador.

I know this is probably a weird question, but thanks in advance for your help! Just want to make sure that we're following all the rules.

There isn't an issue with the IP addresses per say, but there are other aspects to consider. As an administrator in general, I have to point out that account sharing/passing isn't a recommended practice anywhere for security reasons. I'm also concerned that it could be used to circumvent the application process for each new ambassador, and it may be problematic in the future when Discord linking becomes required for ambassador masking on Discord (as it's already required for Citizenship masking).

So it may be problematic, and isn't something I recommend doing, but it isn't against the rules. If it's something you want to go ahead with, you can create the second account.
