Alright, I think we're good with the number of people we have. Pengu has let me know that he will not be joining, sadly, and there are three others I'm still awaiting word from.
I will give it another day or so for the three who are still outstanding to confirm, and then I will begin the game.
I am going to pour my heart and soul into this one because after it is done, I will unfortunately still have to depart. I want to make it clear that it has nothing to do with the recent drama, I've been planning this departure for months. I am not as good as Pengu, Ruguo or Deku when it comes to coming up with interesting gameplay mechanics in the Werewolf games, in fact I am simply going to adapt something I saw from my game in Mafia Universe to the forums here and make a few tweaks. I am going to make this a game where both sides have to play very carefully, but where there is a lot of potential for both teams to draw significant advantages if they play well.
My main draw to the Werewolf games I host has always been the story, and I am sad to say that the story only really came together towards the end for Those of No Reflexion Vol 1. I have had a year to think about how I would approach the sequel, and I believe it will be much better this time. Writing for Werewolf is very difficult to plan for, though. I am going to write much longer posts than are typically required for this game, but I will spoiler tag them, and give a brief synopsis of what happened for those who are really just here to plot, scheme, hang, burn and murder each other, and couldn't care less about the story.
As with all swansongs, I expect it will be a bit pretentious, self-important and sentimental. I ask that you indulge me this one, last time.
Thank you, Wintreath.
