Hello again Wintreath! I'm Katie. You may know me as that person who ran for that other position this election. Well, I'm running for two positions now! I'll have all the power MWAHAHAHA!

*coughs*
I'm running for this position because I've started to become very involved on the RMB and Discord. I've also been accepting citizenship applications and providing information to people about RMB etiquette, the Ambassador program, and the happenings of the Underhusen via my highly informative dispatches! I'm all for helping people find their calling here in Wintreath, and so I will make it my sworn duty to help people gain their footing. After all, it's mandated!

As Thane of Integration, I want to work with the Thane of Gaming to try and bring monthly Cards Against Humanity games to this magnificent region. They're loads of fun, and well suited for a region of horrible people citizens with a great sense of humor! I also want to continue helping Doc in the moderation of the RMB and in assisting new people to be informed of our forum community and our government structure. I also want to reach out, if possible, to formerly active members of our community such as Weissreich, to assist in helping the creation of a brand-new generation of amazing Wintreans!

When I was an active citizen of the Rejected Realms, I served as Outreach Officer for a term and a half! During that term, I maintained the principal TRR Information dispatch, held governmental approval polls, and created graphics for various purposes all over the region. I aim to bring this experience here to Wintreath.

While I do have lots of school, lots of Student Government stuff, and the workload of 4 other regional positions on my back, I've realized that it doesn't take that much time to do great things in this region, especially when you procrastinate! I think I'm more than set to have time for this position, and I think I can do very well.

As I said in my other campaign thread, I am currently a citizen in four different regions: Cynosure, New United Kingdom, The Britannian Kingdom, and Forest. In Cynosure, I hold the WA Delegacy and execute tasks related to that position within their government, and in New United Kingdom I am Culture Secretary and Queen-consort.

What do you think is the one thing we could do to best improve interest and successful integration from the region page to the forums and Discord?

Also, just as a note, Zaphyr can host Cards Against Humanity games...we used to have them all the time when we were on IRC, but it's fallen out of use in the Discord era. More information on that here.

I think the best way to improve interest would be to ask new people on the RMB what their interests are when we greet them. If we think something on the forum would be the best, we'd direct them to the forums. If they seem really good at conversation and willing to talk to people and get involved with stuff, I'd direct them to the forum AND the discord. Other than that, I'm not sure. Also when new citizens join the forums I'd direct them to the discord.

That's cool about Zaphyr! I think I'll make use of that. Might direct more people towards Discord.
