1) Why are you running for this position?
I enjoy Werewolf, and I do love coming up with new ideas and concepts to keep the game fresh and interesting. I'd love to see the game reach new heights, possibly with help brainstorming with Laurentus on bringing it to an even bigger level.
2) What do you aim to accomplish as thane? As part of this, you must include at least one thing that you promise to do beyond the minimum listed duties of the position during your term. It should be measurable, so that it's black and white whether you fulfilled this mandate at the end of the term if you are elected.
I want to create a game that will be remembered across the regions. I want it to be a game to be reckoned with throughout NS, so that when people think of Werewolf, they think back to that game as an example as to why Werewolf is such an exceptional game. Until Dawn was a very lucky break in that it's the first Werewolf I've ever been part of that has hit the 100 page mark in posts. I want a game that can exceed that, completely uninterrupted, that keeps people on the edge of their seats. I think with Laurentus' help, we could really come up with something that could blow that Werewolf out of the water.
2a) If you are an incumbent running for re-election, did you fulfill your mandate from the September election? If not, why didn't you?
3) What qualifications or experience do you have in the area that you are running in?
I'll try to keep it somewhat brief, but I've hosted most of the games here on Wintreath (11 out of soon to be 18 games, plus a trio of short Werewolf games for Summersend 2016), as well as a couple on the 10K Islands Forums when I was a member there. I also created the Werewolf of Past, Present, and Future thread there that is still in use for people to plan future games, as well as the Hall of Winners both here and there. I've been a player participant of Werewolf for 5 years between here and 10KI, missing games only when real life was more demanding.
Outside of Werewolf itself, writing has always been an intense passion of mine, and Werewolf helps me channel it into something when I can't channel it into a full story (though I've been attempting to do so with past games). Because of this, I can be a bit more creative with my ideas, which have ranged from simple-village-with-a-twist to video game crossovers, to a 3rd Choose Your Own Werewolf where I won't know the theme until the day signups have concluded, since it's by the players' choices.
4) How do you plan to have the time to fulfill the duties of the position until the next election in March?
Well, actually my job now goes from 5PM-2AM, Monday-Friday. Since everything is basically closed the minute I'm off work, that gives me extra time to devote both to Wintreath and to Werewolf.
5) Are you currently a part of any other NationStates regional or organizational government? If so, please include those regions and positions.
Not currently, no.
