    Blossoms

    Rosebird Blossom
These are roses found all around the world of Tredania. When the last petal falls, the petals transform into a bird resembling a hummingbird. The bird has a normal lifespan and carries a seed in its stomach. When the bird is nearing the end of its life, it plants the seed which eventually grows into a new Rosebird Blossom. These plants (as well as the color of the bird) can come in red, pink, purple, blue, and orange.

    Rosefly Blossom
These are roses found all around the world of Tredania. When a petal falls, it transforms into a butterfly. It has a normal lifespan of a butterfly, and transforms into a new Rosefly Blossom when it reaches the end of its life. These can come in red, pink, purple, blue, orange, and yellow.

    Rosefire Blossom
By themselves, these are normal flowers with no exceptional qualities. In a group, they form the design of a large phoenix. If one were to approach this group of flowers, there would be a sudden wind sending petals flying. Each petal would then come together and transform into a colossal rose phoenix of multiple colors. The Rose Phoenix is neither friend nor foe, but simply guards specific areas from potential intruders.

    Celestial Blossom
This is a blossom resembling that of a dandelion with spores attached. Though instead of spores, this particular blossom holds what appears to be the very stars themselves on its stems. It’s said that if one were to hold this at a high point in the sky and blow, the stars attached would float away and join their companions in the sky. This is a blossom found only in Alethia, and legend states that if each Alethian citizen were to guide the stars of the celestial blossom, they would be blessed by the Goddess and protected from harm.

    Daisies

    Blushing Daisy
Taking on the color of a white daisy, these flowers are known for turning red and turning away, hiding their face behind their leaves, when someone approaches them. When the person walks away, they slowly revert back to their original selves. These flowers used to be found in Lumara before the wars...but rumor exists that they can still be found in other locations around Tredania.

    Dancing Daisy
Taking on the appearance of a normal white, yellow, or blue daisy...these flowers are known for their dancing-like movement as if in rhythm with the wind. They can be found in various areas of the world, but are most known around Chrysanthia.

    Screaming Daisy
Taking on the appearance of a normal white or yellow daisy, these flowers are known for their sudden, random, blood curdling screams that they let out when lifeforms are near. They can be found in various dark forests around Tredania.

    Laughing Daisy
Taking on the appearance of a normal yellow daisy, these are flowers that will point and laugh at passing lifeforms...or they’ll simply just laugh for no apparent reason. They can be found in various parts of the world, though they’re commonly found in dark forests as if to mock those who get lost in their depths.

    Crying Daisy
Taking on the appearance of a normal white daisy, these daisies generally have two leaves against their “faces” and are always weeping...or sometimes look as if they’re weeping when it’s raining. They can be found in various areas, normally where rainfall is common.

    Humming Daisy
Taking on the appearance of a normal white daisy, these flowers are normally humming a song in unison. If the rest in the group of humming daisies are dead, the last becomes a true Crying Daisy, and its tears help give birth to a new group of Humming Daisies. These can be found in various parts of the world.

    Glowing Daisy
Taking on the appearance of any other type of daisy, this unique type glows either a splendid gold or silver time of glow in the dark. These can be found all over the world in areas that their respective type is found. If picked, they lose their glow.

    Magical Flowers

    Ghost Lily
Coming in various colors, ghost lilies have a special ability that gives them their name: while these flowers are very real and alive, they cannot be touched. If one were to attempt to touch or grab a ghost lily, their fingers/hands would go right through it as if it wasn’t there. Despite this, they still give off a fragrance that people enjoy. These can be found all around the Telari mountains as well as the village.

    Rainrose
These roses are among the longest living flowers, being nearly immortal. These roses will occasionally shoot out a small cloud that hovers above the rose, raining on it and thus giving it some of the required nutrition when needed. These are typically found in Alethia, although it’s said that some can be found near places such as Celan as well as various ruins of the world. There’s a legend that if a Rainrose grows nearby, the place it grows near is destined to fall.

    Blissbloom
These cream-colored flowers glow faintly and have a special quality: their fragrance immediately puts people’s minds at ease, and consuming them puts the person in a perfect state of bliss for a period of time. These are normally found in Mavoria and its surrounding mountains.

    Prismrose
In the sunlight, these flowers display all sorts of colors and shift depending on how one looks at them. At night the flowers close and turn a dull grey color. These can be found all over Mavoria.

    Chameleoblossom
Like the name suggests, this flower takes on the colors of its surroundings. Even if picked, it will change its look to mimic its new location. These can be found around Celan as well as other parts of the world.

    Espioflower
“Advanced” chameleoblossoms in which they can take on the appearance of other flowers entirely. They can even feel and smell like the plant they change into. These can be found within the Illusi forest.

    Tiger Lily
These furry black and orange flowers will bite at anyone that walks by. Delkarians have found a way to tame these to be guardians of their village.

    Moon Flower
These are golden-yellow flowers that are shaped like a crescent moon and glow at night. These can mainly be found in both Verulia and Havana.

    Dream Blossom
These are unique flowers resembling pink sunflowers and have a faint glow to them. When one inhales its fragrance, they feel a sudden inspiration within them. When consumed, one will experience a vivid daydream. When consumed before sleep, one will fully experience a dream in the eyes of a dreamer. After the flower became rare, and in fear of nightmares and equal fear of tainting the land, use of the Dream Blossoms became forbidden. Their location is currently unknown, though its rumored that some can be found in Mavoria.

    Lunar Blossom
Lunar blossoms are blue flowers resembling Irises with yellow lines going from the center of each petal. At night, these flowers give a special glow. These were the dominant flower of Lumara before the war, but rumor exists that they can still be found somewhere within its ruins.

    Desert Star
These are red-orange star-shaped flowers found in the few oasises of Irisia. At night, these flowers glow as if to serve as a beacon for those lost in the desert.

    Non-Magical Flowers

    Havana Flower
Having various types of looks as well as being the flowers of a Havana tree, these flowers are known for their prismatic look and gradual color shift as the sun changes positions. In the moonlight, they change to a silver color, and resume their shift as the sun touches.

    Cloudy Rose
These are normal non-magical flowers that take on the look and feel of a cloud. However, that’s all that the flowers take on, and have the scent of a rose. These are another dominant flower of Alethia.

    Shine Blossom
Flowers of various colors (red, blue, pink, yellow, purple, orange, white), they have a unique sparkle to them. Unlike some of the other flowers, however, they don’t glow at night. These can be found around Mavorus Falls.

    Mountain Lily
These are normal lilies found around the Telari Mountains. They come in various colors.

    Searose
These are wavy-blue flowers found along coastlines. They are a favorite amongst travelers because of both the sea-like fragrance as well as the movements of the wave-like colors of the petals.

    Fauna of Travinika (Tredania)

    Birds

    Nighthawk
Birds resembling crows, nighthawks are known for their golden eyes and dark, almost celestial colors that resembles the night sky. They are remarkably quick in speed and feed mainly on fish. They can be found all over the world, but prefer dark areas.

    Alebird
These are beautiful multicolored (green, purple, blue) birds that Alethia gets its name from. It can be found near Alethia Temple and throughout the Sanctuary. It is rumored that the first Alethians had the wings of an Alebird. When at peace, the Alebirds let out a soothing “coo” that warms the heart. If a threat is sensed, the “coo” is replaced by a blood curdling screech that can be heard for miles.

    Rosebird
Rosebirds are born when the last petal from a Rosebird Blossom falls. They take on the color of the flower, and carry a seed in their stomachs. When they near the end of their lives, they plant the seed which then grows into a rosebird blossom. They live the lifespan of a normal bird, and can be found all over the road.

    Blossom Phoenix
When one approaches a Rosefire patch, the petals form into a flowery phoenix. They can normally be found near important areas such as ruins and are neither good are evil, simply guardians.

    Felbirds
Felbirds are majestic white and purple birds that are intelligent and able to communicate their thoughts with others. Felbirds are trusted companions of the Telarians and keep them up to date with current events.

    Rainix
Rainixes are large majestic birds resembling a phoenix. They are a soft combination of the colors of the rainbow. In fact, their tail feathers have a red tip that gradually shifts through the colors as it goes to the end of the tail feathers. Depending on a Rainix’s mood, they shift to either a darker or more vibrant shade. They’re large enough to ride, and are found exclusively in Mavoria.

    Globird
Globirds can be found in forested areas, such as the Illusi and Delkia Forests. Like the name suggests, they give off a glow in the subtle darkness, giving light to travelers...though this light won't do anything as far as helping the travelers through the forest. These birds are the size of a normal crow or bluebird and are in good enough quantity to where you won't find a shortage of them in forests at certain points, whereas they may be almost nonexistent at others.

    Chameleohawk
As the name suggests, these are birds that have the ability to blend in with their surroundings if they feel threatened. These birds can also be awful pranksters to unsuspecting travelers. It was reported by one patron that he was taking a nice stroll across the Velkaria Plains when he heard a squawk. When he turned, he didn't see anything except the open field. When he turned back to face his path, he was face to face with a bird that seemingly appeared out of nowhere, squawked extra loud in his face, and then flew off before blending back in with the blue sky. It's unknown where these birds hail, as they've been found in various places all over the world.

    Seabird
If birds could talk, the community would label Seabirds as an odd sort. Looking much like regular birds, these can only be found underwater in large oceans. These birds can fly around like normal birds, but only when underwater. If they try to leave the water, they'll flail around like a fish out of water. Also, unlike real birds, these ones do not have lungs, but gills. So if they attempt to be out of water for too long, they will die.

    Waterbird
Waterbirds are birds of pure seawater that are as small as humming birds, and are are docile sort of creature. They tend to fly close to the water and make a hasty retreat when others attempt to approach them. They are known to inhabit various parts of the sea.

    Shadowhawk
These are birds of pure darkness, not to be confused with the darkness that the Shadow King controls. They easily blend into the shadows, giving them their name. They tend to inhabit various caves and other places with dark areas, prone to scaring unsuspecting people that approach them. Their diet consists of bugs that crawl in the caverns.

    Sand Eagle
As the name suggests, these are eagles that are made of pure sand. These birds can be found in various areas of the Irisia desert. Nobody knows how or when these creatures appeared, except that they appeared after Lumaria was destroyed and forever buried in the desert. They tend to scare people by popping out and flying at them if someone gets too close.

    Carnibird
These birds have a fleshlike color and appearance, lacking feathers like normal birds. Like most life on Verunia Continent, Carnibirds are incredibly viscous and carnivorous, preying on the unprepared traveler. They feed on the victims they meet and inhabit any part of Verunia that has trees.

    Moonbird
These birds are as black as night with golden eyes. They can be found in various areas when night falls. When the moonlight touches them, their feathers glitter as if there are stars all over their bodies. These birds are harmless to others, and feed on Moonbugs.

    Lava Hawk
As the name implies, these are birds of pure molten lava. These creatures inhabit the molten caverns below Mavoria and do not need to eat to survive. But if one sees a Lava Hawk emerge, they had better run for their lives.

    Mammals

    Libbit
These are small, bouncy creatures that have many lion-like features. These creatures are mischievous creatures that love chasing animals bigger in size. When one approaches, a libbit will shy away, but will pounce and nip once their back is turned. Libbits are strictly herbivores.

    Hareon
These are creatures the size of a tiger or horse, resembling rabbits with a lion-like figure/body type and mane. While they’re protective of their young, hareons are typically docile creatures. One can approach a hareon with ease and pet them, and they’re a main source of travel for much of the Velkarius continent. They can be found in various parts of the world, and are strictly herbivores.

    Rabite
Black rabbits with small fangs and ashy grey tails. Like most on Shalos Isle, their name dictates their nature...and these ones don't travel alone. If you see a rabite, you best turn tail since there's most likely 10 more nearby.

    Moonbear
As the name suggests, Moonbears can only be found at night in light of the moon. They have a unique fur that shimmers as moonlight touches it, something that can throw off unsuspecting prey if the moonlight is bright enough. During the day, these bears can be found asleep in their caves, and they can be found all over the world.

    Rockbear
These creatures are, as the name suggests, made of pure stone and are seen in various caverns. Like most bears, these can be viscious if one gets too close, and they won't hesitate to give chase to anyone that it sees with its piercing ruby eyes.

    Nerolf
Nerolfs are a terrifying beast that can only appear in the darkest of shadow. However, they can only move within the same shadows, and will disappear instantly if they touch a lighter surface. They are vicious beasts that will tear apart their prey if they can. Beware of dark areas, especially pitch black areas.

    Water Tiger
Found within the waters surrounding Mavoria, Water Tigers are exactly as the name suggests: tigers with scaly skin rather than fur, and fins rather than feet. They tend to have a silver color to them with black stripes. They feed on the little fish that make the Mavoria waters their home, and are more timid and protective of themselves than aggressive towards others that swim in their waters. They're more likely to growl and back up slowly than attack...unless the person approaching doesn't take the hint and keeps attempting to approach.

    Fire Tiger
As the name suggests, these are creatures made of pure fire that inhabit the molten caverns below Mavoria. These are seemingly harmless, but also territorial creatures. While one will not make an effort to give chase to someone it spots, it will get aggressive and violent if it feels that someone is approaching too close.

    Sky Tiger
At first glance, these probably sound like anyone's worst nightmare; tigers in the sky. However, like the Sea and Fire Tigers, these creatures are more protective of themselves rather than aggressive. If one gets too close to a Sky Tiger, it will growl at them and attack if the person doesn't take the hint to walk away. Sky Tigers have a snowy white fur with black stripes and white wings. They have no specific area that they call home, but are known to take refuge in Alethia's Sky Sanctuary and other various areas of the world.

    Volgorath the Ancient
Volgorath is one of the oldest creatures in Tredania, arguably one of the very first and only that still lives today. Volgorath is a tiger with ebony black fur and shimmering white stripes. He takes on a size larger than most tigers, and is capable of speaking through his thoughts in his primal form. He's also capable of transforming himself into 6'5" humanoid form and is capable of non-thought speech in this form. Volgorath is wise and fierce, but also compassionate and just.

    Silver Monkey
As the name suggests, Silver monkeys are little monkeys that have silver fur. They can be seen crawling the Chrysanthium trees, feeding on either the fruits or the silver spiders. They normally stay out of sight, but they normally come down when it comes to the lower citizens of Chrystanthia, feeling more of a bond with them than the upper citizens.

    Prism Monkey
Prism Monkeys are a unique sort that live near Havana. The fur of a Prism Monkey is much like that of a Havana Blossom to where it changes color depending on the angle that you're looking at it, giving them their name. They're also given their name because if one focuses their light on a prism monkey, it will bounce off of them in a variety of colors.

    Sundeer
With colors of a sunset and antlers that shine like a burning fire, these deer can be seen grazing the grass in various areas of the world. Like most deer, they are very wary of others, and will flee if one tries to approach one.

    Raindeer
Like Sundeer, Raindeer can be found all over the world of Tredania. Their fur is as white as a cloud, and their antlers a prism of rainbow colors, shifting and changing as they move. They're truly a sight to behold, though they're much rarer to see up close than a Sundeer, as they tend to come out only seconds after rainfall.

    Moondeer
Like the other deer of Tredania, Moondeer can be found all over the world. During the day, their fur is greyish in appearance and they have pale white antlers and green eyes. At night however, they go through a complete color transformation. In the light of the moon, their fur is a darker blue color and their fur sparkles as if it is full of stars, much like the feathers of a Moonbird. Their antlers shine a golden yellow as do their eyes, giving them their name.

    Brutedeer
The only form of deer in Tredania with cannibal tendancies. These creatures resemble rotting forms of a deer with red glowing eyes, and are prevalent only on Verunia where nearly all wildlife is violent and will attack the unprepared.

    Moonpup
Moonpups resemble a mix between a labrador puppy and a gopher and have darker grey fur. They tend to burrow underground during the day and prowl around at night, giving them their name. It's said that their eyes are sensitive to the light of the sun which is why they avoid it. They're a docile creature and eat the bugs that crawl underground.

    Nimbus Whale
Nimbus Whales are large whales that are covered in the very clouds themselves.  They float throughout the skies of Tredania, and are pale white in color.  There are very few in existence, totaling 5.  Rumor has it that one of these whales carries a temple on its back, which has been proven true by those who have been able to reach it and tell about it.

    Bugs and Bats

    Glowbug
Glowbugs are much like Fireflies, only their entire bodies glow rather than a single part. They can be found in forested areas.

    Sea Scorpion
As the name suggests, these are creatures that dwell in various parts of the sea. Rather than having legs, sea scorpions have fins to travel.

    Nimbus Bug
Cloud shaped and colored bugs that fly the skies and are the main food source for sky salmon. They themselves eat the unusual fungi that grows on the clouds.

    Rosefly
Roseflies are butterflies that were once the petal of a rosefly blossom. The rosefly takes on the color of the petal it once was, and has a lifespan of a normal butterfly. When it dies, it becomes a new rosefly blossom. They can be found all over the world.

    Silver Spider
As the name implies, these are spiders of a glittering silver, mimicking the color of the Chrysanthium tree leaves in which they hide. These are non-predatory spiders that feed on dead leaves and sap.

    Arachnosite
Arachnosites are one of the most horrifying, deadliest creatures that one could encounter in Tredania. These small spiders find a living host and burrow into their skin, making their way to the bloodstream. Once there, they attach themselves to a blood cell, feeding on it and injecting a poison into it at the same time. Once the cell dries up it explodes as many more arachnosites burst out and repeat the process. Victims are found absent of blood but full of dead arachnosites. These creatures can be found in various areas, specifically in pits and piles. If one were to see a pile of logs, it’s a decent chance that arachnosites have made it a home. They can only live a short time even after feeding, and can’t be in the light for long. But they’re also quick, though unlike most spiders can’t make webs.

    Stalagbat
Stalagbats are creatures that can only be found in cavernous areas. These are bats made of pure stone and resemble stalagtites when they are stationary. They are non-agressive animals, but that doesn't mean they're against frightening potential victims if they approach too closely.

    Shadow Bat
As the name suggests, these are bats as black as the night.  However, their name comes from their unique defensive ability of turning invisible to escape predators.  But if one were to look carefully enough while they were in this state, they would see a shadow flying around.

Reptiles, Amphibians, Fish, Crabs, and Misc

    Desert Crab
As the name suggests, these crabs can be found burrowing in desert sands. They eat the various smaller bugs that crawl around.

    Sky Salmon
As the name suggests, Sky salmon are fish that are seen swimming around in the skies. They have the usual scale color of salmon, and look almost exactly as one would expect a salmon to look. These sky fish feed on the nimbus bugs that they see, and they in turn are eaten by the various birds that fly around. Sky salmon are a staple diet for both Alebirds as well as Alethians in general. They're also a source of food for Sky Tigers as well.

    Stone Snake
Stone snakes are quite dangerous to encounter. Their skin resembles a long stone, and their bite will turn the victim slowly to stone, both inside and out. These snakes can be found in various mountain and cave areas, and should be avoided at all costs. If one becomes infected by a Stone Snake, seek help from the nearest Helethian right away.

    Blossom Snake
Blossom snakes are docile, but protective snakes that resemble a blossoming flower from afar, hence their name. If one comes too near a blossom snake, they'll know by a small pain they'll get from the snake's bite. A blossom snake's bite will cause vines to grow throughout the victim's body, until they themselves blossom into different flowers and die. The process is exceptionally slow, taking several hours for it to completely take effect. The vines can be removed with Life or Light magic.

    Lunatoad
Lunatoads were once a prominant animal found traversing the continent of Lumara. Their multicolored skin would glow various colors, and they lived on the Gloflies that would make their homes there. Ever since Lumara's demise, it is reported that the Lunatoad has gone extinct, as no one has seen one since.

    Blossom Turtle
Blossom turtles live in various meadows around the world, and are completely docile, though shy towards strangers. Their shell is covered with various flowers, giving them their name. Even the top of a blossom turtle's head normally has a small blossoming flower on top of it. There are rumors that the flower growing on the turtle's head has special qualities, but this has not been confirmed as of yet.

    Glimmerfish
As the name states, Glimmerfish are simple fish that have a unique shimmer to them in the sunlight/moonlight.  They are a staple diet of both Mavorians as well as water tigers.

    Cleminoid
Cleminoids are humanoid golems in shape and size.  They have no eyes, ears, or even noses, and they sense movement by the feel of vibrations on the ground.  They have stone fangs, but only to eat rocks.  They're very hostile to anyone who approaches, and have unusually large fists that they aren't afraid to hit someone with.  They can be found in the Mavorous Falls Caverns.

    Sand Star
These resemble Starfish, except they dwell in the Palori deserts.  They also sport a mouth in their center with sharp teeth, and are strictly carnivores.  Beware if you're ever bitten by one of these creatures, as their fangs are poisonous.  They also tend to attack in groups, so if you see one walking solo, chances are there may be more nearby.

  • Races of Travinika (Tredania)

    Irisians
Irisians are the native people of Lumara (now Irisia) that were born during the post-Shadow War period.  Mostly merchants and thieves/treasure hunters, Irisians are known for their slightly shorter stature (standing tallest at 5'8" and average at 5'5") as well as their glimmering purple eyes and quick reflexes.  While they're considered natives of Irisia, they're quite different from the original Lumarians, so their true origin before the war is unknown.

    Lumarians
As the name states, Lumarians are the actual natives of Lumara before the Shadow War took place.  Unlike Irisians, Lumarians are known for their tan skin (as opposed to the Irisians' paler complexion), emerald green eyes, and pointed ears.  They're also taller in stature than the Irisians, with the tallest hitting 6'3", and the average height hitting around 5'8".  Rarely, a child will be born with sapphire blue eyes...a sign by the Goddess that they will become the next leader of Lumara.

    Mavorians
Mavorians are the natives of the kingdom of Mavoria.  They're known for their golden eyes and the varying colors of their skin.  At birth they start off as a pale white color, and their skin color shifts to a color similar to the very element that their have control over (IE fire-element wielders have a more reddish hue).  Those gifted with two elements have a gradient affect with their skin color which is a mix of the two colors, while the tri-wielders (who are revered as leaders) take on a gradient mixture of the three colors.  Since there are many elements, the number of skin colors varies substantially.

    Delkarians
Delkarians are a race that has a deep connection to nature.  They are known mostly for their unique animal/human hybrid forms - while humanoid in both stature and body type, their features are much more animal-like in appearance including (but not limited to): wolves, bears, tigers, lions, birds, cats, rats, lizards, horses, and dogs.  Aside from the Clendarians, Delkarians are the most varied in height, with the shortest recorded being 4"9', the tallest being 7"0', and the average being between 5'8" to 6'0".  Delkarians are a shamanistic people that live an isolated life for the most part (though they may choose to leave in their adult stage for the life outside).  One cannot enter the village without making it through the encompassing forest, which is impossible without the help of a Delkarian.

    Felarians
Like the Delkarians, Felarians are a people that live isolated from the rest of the world.  Though unlike the Delkarians, these folks rarely ever leave the village for life outside aside from the select few that choose to work for the current King of Tredania.  They are a gentle folk that live high up in the Felari Mountains.  They are olive-skinned humans with purple eyes(varying from dark to light, depending on their gift) that have a hint of orange, like a sunset.  They are gifted in the ways of the mind, and are valuable ally due to one of those gifts being second sight/premonitions.

    Clendarians
Clendarian is the Tredanian word for Human.  Like humans in our world, Clendarians have all the same varieties of qualities and features, including different accents depending on where they hail.  Also like humans in our world, they have no unique gifts like most of the other races.

    Alethians
These are a unique race hailing from the floating continent, Alethia.  Believing to be descended directly from the Goddess, Alethians are a proud, albeit egotistical people.  They're known for their sky blue eyes and wings of various types, ranging from feathery like a bird to wings like a bat, as well as other types.  While they can fly and thus travel all over the world, most choose to never leave what they believe is Paradise.  Like Clendarians, they vary in height.

    Velvorians
Velvorians, as the name states, hail from the continent of Velvoria.  They're one of the biggest races that resides on this continent, reaching heights as tall as 7"3', with average height hitting 6'2".  They also have larger heads due to increased brain size, and have silver eyes.  Velvoria, unsurprisingly, is a much more progressive continent compared to the others because of these people.

    Natrulians
Residing also on Velvoria is the race of Natrulians.  In reality, Natrulians are Delkarians that migrated to Velvoria during the Shadow War.  Unlike their ancestors, however, they are much more attuned to the modern life because of their relationship with the Velvorians...despite the name they chose to give themselves.  Also unlike their ancestors, while they retain much of their animal-like features, they also have a tinge more of a human-like look to them...most likely because of their breeding with the Velvorians.

    Vemolians
These are a unusual, yet peaceful race of people that reside on Vemolia...the continent of Eternal Night.  They are peaceful guardians of the vast Tower of Night, a tower of mysterious, yet dark origins and design.  Vemolians have twilight skin (as in celestial, like a clear night sky) and golden eyes.  Like Clendarians, they have varying heights, though their tallest person recorded was 6'2".

    Verunians
Hailing from the living continent of Verunia, Verunians are essentially identical to Clendarians in most features.  The only real difference is that they have both slightly larger irises, as well as bigger hands and feet.  Otherwise, they're essentially Clendarians.

  • The Crystals and Gems of Tredania

While there are many regular crystals in Tredania of various types, there are also some unique crystals that can be found in the different continents of the world.  There's also the unique Light Gems that are supposedly the life-blood of Tredania.

    The Crystals

    Zanite
This is a crystal that both amplifies and stores magical energy cast into it.  These can be found in abundance in the Mavorus Falls Caverns, but can also be found in the Felari Caverns.

    Tanzite
This is a crystal that is seemingly indestructible to anything except items made from Tanzite...which is near impossible to create.  These can be found in rare form in the Celani mines on the main continent, but can also be found in the Natrulia Caverns over on the continent of Velvoria

    Anzite
This is a crystal that absorbs magic completely, rather than storing it.  These can be found in mountains around Vemolia.

    Zanadite
This is a crystal that gives off a faint light/glow that grows stronger when it comes near other Zanadite crystals.  These were at first considered as a potential light source, but due to being able to stop the glow (as opposed to merely just keeping it dim), the more adaptable Zanite became a more suitable light source for cities such as Verulia.  Now, Zanadite is mainly used as a last resort light source, though there are rumors that it contains a secondary undiscovered quality....

    The Light Gems

Rumor has it that these gems appeared in existence when Tredania itself was created.  It's said that they contain a unique magic within them that, when together, can produce extraordinary results.  After the Shadow War, however, they were split up and taken to various parts of the world.  It's unknown just how many of these gems exist as well as what exactly they do when together...but it's rumored that Alethian Elders use one as a magical amplification source, amplification on a scale so grand that, on that same rumor, it's what keeps Alethia continuing to float in the sky.

  • The Velkarius Continent

Velkarius is a mid-sized, fertile continent in Tredania.  Out of the 4 known, it is by far the busiest and most populated continent, and is the continent in which the Dreamers arrive when they appear in Tredania.

In the days before the Shadow War, Velkarius and the other continents were once the gargantuan continent of Velmvoria.  But the events of the war split the continents and caused them to drift apart over time.

Velkarius is known for its modern innovations with a heavy medieval influence, its gorgeous and often unique scenery, large variety of different races, and being the origin point for the Dreamers.

Tanzite and Zanite are the most known types of crystal found here.

One can also find the Lumara continent housed near by, and Alethia most normally hovering above.

  • Alethia

    History
During the Crystal Age, Alethia was one of the most visited spots in all of Tredania. Around this time, Alethia was just another continent that rested on the ground with the rest, and was known for its breathtaking beauty, its buildings of crystal that, in our world, would resemble a kingdom in Greece if all of the buildings shimmered in the faint sunlight, as well as the beautiful Alebirds that, when they were at peace, would let out a "coo" that could warm even the coldest of hearts.

When the Shadow War encompassed the world, the elders of Alethia used what little magic they had to lift Alethia from the ground and into the skies, with a bit of help from their Light Gem that they had obtained.  This action would completely change both how the Alethians were viewed, as well as how they viewed themselves.  On the one side, those below viewed them with contempt for their cowardice in abandoning them and leaving them to die.  While on the other side, Alethians felt more reverence for themselves and believed that their spared existence was a blessing of the Goddess.

The Goddess, however, was not pleased with this act of cowardice.  While it was true that she had blessed the Alethians, that was also true of all of her children that those same Alethians had left behind.  To punish them for their actions, she gave the Alethians a crucial task that they had to follow without failure: once a year, every citizen of age would take a special plant containing stars on its stems to the highest point of their temple.  There, they would release those same stars into the sky itself, giving back what the Shadow War had taken.  So long as each and every citizen of age did this without fail, the Goddess would continue to bless them.  But if even one had failed in their duty, then they would no longer be blessed by her.

Since that day, Alethians have done this unquestionably every year, calling it the Celestial Ceremony.  The highest point of the temple, known from that point as the Celestial Balcony, was officially closed off to anyone that wasn't of age.  And every year, every Alethian of age--even those that had migrated to the surface below--would come together to perform the arduous task that the Goddess had given them.  But unlike what the Goddess had originally intended, they did it more as a duty out of worry for losing the blessings rather than as a way to repent for their past.  In truth, the Goddess had never actually intended to stop giving her blessing.  In fact, this punishment was more about the Alethians repenting for their mistake, something that they would never understand deep down since their pride never let them believe that they had done any actual wrong.

    Location Description

Alethia is a medium sized floating continent that was pulled from the ground many years ago, but nobody seems to remember where it was originally from.  The city itself is surrounded on all sides by Sanctuary - the forests of Alethia.  This forest was given this name because of it housing the Alebirds, animals that Alethians consider both highly sacred, and incredibly useful.  If everything was at peace, these birds would let out their normal warm "coo" continuously.  However, if there was danger nearby, they would let out a piercing screech that could be heard for miles.  It was this reason that the Alethians revered them much and considered them as important to them as the Goddess herself.

In the bottom-rightmost corner of the continent is the remains of the Aluenian Mountains, which are unremarkable outside of being the source of where the Alethians obtained the crystal for their buildings and supplies.

In the city's center stands a hill which houses the vast Alethia Temple, the main place of worship.

When entering the temple, one is greeted by four smaller rooms (two on each side) leading to altars  of worship within the main hallway.  If one were to continue to the end of the hallway, they would find themselves reaching the main area of worship...a large room known as the Prayer Chamber.  In this chamber rests a large area of the Goddess herself, where most Alethians find themselves praying.

On the opposite end of the Prayer Chamber is a door leading to the Chamber of Elders.  Within this chamber is the Elders of Alethia, standing around the Emerald Light Gem as they pray to it, pouring magical energy into it.  It is this magical energy that keeps Alethia floating in the sky.

Sitting on the left and right sides of the Prayer Chamber are stairs leading to the Upper floor, with a singular staircase leading to the revered Celestial Balcony.  During the ceremony, it is in this temple where you'll see Alethians standing in perfect lines holding their Celestial Blossoms, each waiting with bated breath to do their part so they can continue receiving their blessing.

  • Verulia & Pendia

    History
During the Crystal Age, Verulia was the second biggest mega city in all of Tredania, encompassing a large portion of what would become the top right of the current Velkarius Continent.  Whereas Lumara was a simpler paradise known for its pleasures and exceptional hospitality, Verulia was known for its more modern metropolitan feel, rivaling that of the other modern progressive city, Metrolia.

Verulia was once the town of progress in Velkaria.  Known for its many innovative practices, many inventions created during this time pushed Verulia into an early industrial age, and made it a technical marvel.  This would last for many years until the beginning of the Shadow War.

During the way, Verulia was almost wiped from the map completely.  In the aftermath, most of the city outside a small portion was completely destroyed beyond repair.  Over time, the city was rebuilt in a much smaller capacity, with the rest of the ruins being lost from the ravages of time.  The only remaining relic outside of the city was the fabled Hall of Glass, in which a village known as Pendia was eventually built around it.

Nowadays, Verulia has hints of modern and medieval architecture and is still known for its innovative nature...but it nowhere near compares to the city of the past, as most of those bits of knowledge were lost along with the city.  It still remains as the main capital city of Tredania, however.

Pendia on the other hand very much is a bustling village because of the Halls of Glass, since many would come from great distances to see it.   But they also come to see the village's vast orchards, or to take part in their annual Fruit Festival.

    Verulia Description

As stated, Verulia is a mixture of a modernesque and medieval town.  It has a castle standing in the center on a large hill, and surrounded on all sides by the many houses.  On the inner left and right is the Middle District, which houses the middle class and is home to the armor and weapon shops as well as the apothecary.  Along the outer left and right is the Lower Districts, which houses the lower class, but is also houses the popular Dreamy Knight Tavern.

Along the back are the three mansions for the Grand Duke, High Count, and Honorable Baron, the King's favored subjects.  Unlike most nobility, these positions were created in memory of the three heroes who helped the first Dreamer end the Shadow War.  Those in the position currently are the ancestors of those three heroes.

The front area is the city's Entertainment and Commerce district which contains the ever-busy Marketplace, as well as houses both the Scarlett Theater and Grand Library.  Also found in both this district as well as the Middle District are several churches.

In the medieval aspect, the buildings follow something out of a Middle Ages England sort of style, with modern tweaks here and there.  For example, along the streets are various streetlights powered not by fire or bulb, but by Zanite infused with fire magic that only powers in absence of the sun.  Likewise, it's not uncommon to see villagers of various ages riding what look to be uniquely styled self-moving bicycles powered by wind magic.

Like the town itself, fashion is more contemporary, but with a medieval flair.  Common style includes jean-like pants, cloth shirts of various types (long sleeve, short sleeve, collared, etc...), and whatnot.  Some villagers wear vests on top of their shirts, some wear hats, and others add various other personal touches.  Hairstyles and colors are much more conservative...but as Verulia is a diverse town that is home to many different races, there are many various styles in both clothing and personal style.

Wealthy folks have much finer clothes with their own personal touches to let people know that they come from money.  It's most common that you'll see nobility walking around with beautifully designed clothes with intricate golden weaves and stitches.  They also have different accessories such as patches and badges to establish their noble rank.

Verulia castle is a castle of both metal and stone.

It is here that (of course) laws are made and inventions are either created or presented for approval by the scientific board.  Currently, it is King Verulius XIII and QUeen Merilia that rule over the kingdom.  They rule with both an even hand and a warm heart, and are beloved by the many citizens.

While Verulia has no specific enemies to speak of since the war, it is still a defensive fortress.  Along with the town wall that is constantly guarded, the castle is also guarded over carefully by guards both on the outside as well as along each of the castle's 4 towers.

    Pendia Description

Pendia village, as mentioned, is a small village that surrounds and watches the Halls of Glass.  After the war had decimated the once larger Verulia, Pendia was made specifically to watch over the halls.

After some time, Pendia became a small farming town that eventually grew slightly to accommodate the influx of villagers coming to see the halls.  In response, Pendia began hosting an annual Fruit festival --a festival celebrating Pendia's abundant source of fruit coming from their large orchard-- which only helped with Pendia's growing fame.

Like most towns, Pendia has a small library, pub/inn, and a couple of shops.  It also is home to a mid-sized school that teaches basic education, and is highly regarded by many.  Those in Verulia that can afford it send their children to this school, though the upper class more often send their own children to the Academy for better education.

Unlike Verulia, most of the citizens in Pendia are Clendarians, with a few exceptions.  A couple of those exceptions are the Glass Guardians - those who watch over the Dreamer Mirrors within the Halls of Glass.  The guardians within the Halls are almost always of the Alethian race.
