So yeah, thoughts on number of seats?

Default? 5?

It's looking like a lot of people might run so we could always go for more, maybe 6 or 7?

However my mind is pretty set on 5 just now.

I think 4 turned out pretty well this time, but I think maybe it won't fit for this next session, depending on how many people stand.

I was thinking of 5, but we seem to have quite a few people running so perhaps more?

At the moment, I think 5 is fine.  We only have 9 people running at the moment, and until an OA becomes a reality, I think there should be a healthy balance between available seats and those running for them.  5 seats between 9-10 candidates means that 5 will win a seat, 5 won't.  The same can be said for 6 seats between 11-12 candidates, and so on.  Personally, I think 1 seat for every 2 candidates is a good way to balance it.

So should we let the Default law take place, or write and pass a dedicated one?

I think just write one for the formality of it.
