Greetings, new Underhusen! Now that the election is finally over, we need to go about the business of selecting a new Speaker. Over the next 48 hours, please post here if you are interested in standing for Speaker...afterwards we will have a 48 hour election to determine who it will be unless only one person stands.

I third the nomination of HannahB (I notice there is no specified procedure for nomination, so even though thirding usually isn't a thing, I'll do it anyway ).

It looks like it's overwhelmingly in her favor. Actually, it's a unanimous decision. What now?

According to the Underhusen procedural rules we still have to wait through the nomination period, but if there's one person standing for Speaker at the end of that the election can be waived.
